[book one]
Honestly, this book is terrible- I'd rather you read one of my other books on my page as they are better written than these two books!

Jess sat in a cafe contemplating what she had done. She sighed, slumping in her chair as she gazed outside. Why was she so protective over manny?
She picked up her hot chocolate, taking a long sip as the clock ticked to midday. She decided not to go back to school, not caring about her education. She just wanted to escape for a day. She came here for a new start but everything seemed to spiral back to crime.
"Thanks for looking after my brother back there."
Jess jumped at the voice. In front of her sat Tobi. When did he get there?
The girl slumped in her seat mumbling, "Thought you didn't want me near him?" Tobi kissed his teeth, annoyed with the girls attitude towards him before muttering back, "You're lucky i said thanks."
The girls head dropped down as she stared at her shoes, not knowing what to say. An awkward silence met the two causing the boy to sigh, his glare falling ever so slightly as he pushed himself closer to the table.
"Look those guys are going to come after you now, so watch your back. Dont trust anybody," Jess' eyes followed him as he stood up, her eyebrows furrowing as she took in his words, "So why should i trust you?" She spoke causing the boy to glance up at her. He stood, clearing his throat as he nodded to a waitress who gave a nervous smile, nodding back as if to confirm something.
The older smirked at the girl mumbling, "Trust no one."

Jess sighed as she walked home, her hands shoved into the pocket of her jumper, short huffed breaths escaping her mouth every now and then.
"What does he mean trust no one?" She muttered as her feet hit the pavement, people staring at the girl as they whispered. Most muttering in judgement.
Everyone in London knew the girl, whether it was through her past or through what happened to her face. She had fucked with the most dangerous gang in London and she didn't even care. But she continues to fuck with them, which confused the city. No one had ever fucked with the most notorious gang and lived to tell the tale.
Her eyes wondered around the street, glaring at anyone who dared to even glance at her. Of course she heard the whispers, people weren't so secretive when it came to telling their friends everyone's business.
But she decided to ignore it, not entirely up to make shit worse. God she wanted to flip out and fight everyone looking at her, but shook her head at that thought. She didn't need the attention.

It was the next day and Jess entered the school, earphones in her ears as she blasted 'head gxne' by Scarlxrd.
She smirked as people stared at her, lightly raising an eyebrow causing most of them to look away without another thought. She knew that they heard what happened yesterday with the full out brawl between gangs- and that she had been involved despite fighting with Tobi since the day she arrived.
