Jess sighed as she made her way over to Adam and his friends. She bowed her head as she stood next to the man, tugging her hood up over her head.

"So what happened to her?" One of Adams friends had asked while sipping on his drink.

"Some people were jumping her, it's lucky she didn't get put in hospital because of it." Adam explained slowly as if he was warning the girl of what he was capable of. That he wanted to put her in hospital, and if it meant saving Manny from being hurt then so be it.

"Isn't that right Jess" The boy sneered slightly, knocking the girl out of her thoughts. She glanced up, gulping before giving a slow nod. "I'm just going to the toilet," The girl mumbled, itching to get away from the boy. "Don't be long," he muttered, turning back to his friends, making the girl give a quick nod before she walked away.

Jess made her way to the toilets, the other school kids staring at the girl as she quickened her pace. She heard their whispers. How she got put in her place. How she deserved more. The girl was confused, no one knew her, why were they chatting the most about her? Did they know about her? About her past? She honestly couldn't give a fuck, but the anxiety of not knowing annoyed her.

Jess finally got to the girl's toilets, anger surging through her veins. The girl had thoughts roaming around her head, them being: should I do something? obviously, you're a bad bitch.

The small girl yelled out, her anger getting the better of her and she let it out, punching the mirror in front of her. The sight of her own reflection made her sick. The thoughts had changed most of them being of what she was doing to Manny, how she had to be with Adam.

The small girl continued to punch the mirror, the force causing the glass to shatter and the wall to dent. She needed a release. The girl was soon held back from damaging the now bare wall. However, her anger was still there.

"Get. The. Fuck. Off. Me" She growled out, pulling away from the arms that looped around her arms.

"Jess calm-" Lucy's voice had tried to overpower the girls but Jess wouldn't allow it.

"No, fuck off. I ain't gonna calm down for no bitch, aight. I'm fucking trying so hard to just save Man-someone and I'm probably going to fucking die because of it." Jess cut herself off realizing what she had said. The small girl looked behind Lucy making sure Adam wasn't there, why was she like this. She's not scared. Well, she is - only of him though.

"Is Adam threatening you?" Lucy's voice made the other girl's eyes move to her, Lucy's voice relatively calm. Why was she being soft? Many knew the crazy girl for well - being crazy.

"I've got to go" Jess muttered, brushing Lucy's question off, as she cradled her bleeding knuckles.

"Jess, man. wait-" But the girl was already gone.

Lucy stood by herself, shock written all over the girls face. What had just happened? Her eyes widened at what she found out, realizing she should probably tell Tobi. So she ran out of the smashed girl's toilets, running past people who stared in shock as she pushed year 7's to the floor. She needed to find her friends.

She soon found them, outside the school, near Tobi and Manny's motorbikes, so she ran over to them. At the loss of breath from all the running, Simon decided to speak, "Lucy, you good?"

The girl chuckled, regaining some of her breath, she answered back.

"I just ran into Jess in the toilets, she was going mad, punching the mirrors and shit till they smashed, then she continued to punch the wall-" Lucy stopped to take another deep breath before continuing, "Then she was like, I'm fucking trying so hard to just save someone and I'm probably going to fucking die because of it"

The girl finally took a few deep breaths, regaining her composer only for Manny to mutter out, "Okay, and why is this important."

Lucy huffed out before announcing her last few words loudly, "Because she was going to say your name instead of someone."
