The group sat in Jess' living room , feeling normal for once.For once they were all enjoying their selves. The tv played a random song mix from Jess' youtube playlist , the group finding her songs either sexual and freaky or really depressing. No one complained though , more focused on the game at hand ; uno.
"Sooo Marfo called me up," Manny mumbled out causing everyone to look at him. "Who's that?" Jess asked as she played her plus two in which Lucy called her a bitch and picked up two cards. "Our football manager" Tobi spoke out putting a reverse card down.
"So , you both play football and din't bother to mention it to me , the girl who loves watching football?" Jess exclaimed as she chose which of her last two cards to put down , "Uno" Tobi chuckled out at the girl before replying "We haven't played in months"
Manny let out a nervous laugh before joining the conversation once more ,"yeh about that , i told him we'd play , cause he was short on players , i also told him Jed would come."
The boy had rushed out his words but everyone caught onto what he said. Tobi growled , throwing his cards to the table , allowing them to be on show. "Told you he had green" Lucy muttered to Jess , a smirk on her face.
"After everything that has happened , you want to play a fucking football game?! After nearly fucking dying! You want to play an eleven a side game of football?!" Tobi had stood , silence had overcome the group , the air holding tension.
"I just thought since Jed was back-"Manny went to explain but Tobi kissed his teeth , his voice beginning to grow deeper "Yeh , well you thought wrong." Despite being in Jess penthouse , he tossed the chair he was sat on and angrily walked over to the girls bedroom.
"Fucks sake" Lucy spoke as Jess put down her last plus four. "Don't worry Manny , i'll sort it out" Jess mumbled to the boy before standing up and making her way to her room. She softly opened it , walking in before shutting it slowly.
" What the fuck was that?" Jess growled , moving over to the man that stood , staring out of the girls' bedroom window. "You know , you can be the least sympathetic for him , but no you have to be a dick head , as always"
Tobi turned around , walking a quick pace to the girl as he spoke "I just got my family back , do you think i want to fucking mess it up by playing a shitty football match" The man had raised his voice as he pushed the girl against the wall. The connection created a loud bang and the girl to whimper not meeting the mans gaze as she raised her own voice.
"Yeh and i've fucking lost everything and Manny means so much to me! So please do this one thing for me! Just this one thing, because I'd do anything for you and your brothers, so please just do this,"The girl let out small, angry breathes before continuing, her finger poking his chest as she spoke, "or you lose me."
The house fell silent , making the girl glance up into the boys eyes and as soon as she did , she could tell what the man was going to say.
"Get out," The girl whispered , Tobi barely catching it. "Get out! Get out!" The girl yelled , her fists connecting with the mans chest. "You're a fucking selfish prick!" The girl screamed out sending a blow to the mans face but Tobi caught the girls fist pushing the girl on her bed , pinning her down.
His hand wrapped around the girls throat , growling "Don't you ever touch me like that again!" Jess felt her eyes water as Tobi climbed off the bed. The small girl turned her back to Tobi mumbling "I should've never trusted you"
The man chuckled as he walked out the room saying "i told you not to trust anyone"
*flash back*
"Thanks for looking after my brother back there" Jess jumped at the voice. In front of her sat Tobi , when did he get there? The girl slumped in her seat mumbling "thought you didn't want me near him". Tobi kissed his teeth , annoyed with the girl , saying "you're lucky i said thanks." The girls head dropped down as she stared at her shoes , not knowing what to say. "Look those guys are going to come after you now , so watch your back. Dont trust anybody," Jess' eyes followed him as he stood up. " so why should i trust you? " she mumbled as they made eye contact. The older smirked at the girl mumbling "trust no one" before walking away from the girl.
The girl let out a small cry at the memory , she should've never listened to anyone. She should've walked away from Manny that day. She should've never gotten involved with the sidemen.

Sooooooo , this was the last chapter of the first book! Yes i know most were expecting a nice and love inflicted ending but as you can tell , it isn't. Anyway , it's my birthday tomorrow so i'm going to post the first chapter of the second book tomorrow , make sure to check it out tomorrow!
