Jess lay on her bed, crying. The girl was completely torn. Her father had used to rape her, beat her, lock her in her room for weeks, giving her scraps to live off. He sold her to his friends for drugs, watched her get raped by people he called 'brother's'.

Adam had reminded her of her father.

The past week, he had gotten his friends involved in using her. She tried to fight back but Adam always brought up Manny. How he'd get murdered if she didn't let them do the things they did. So she just led there, letting the boys do what they wanted. She couldn't escape her past. It will always come back to haunt her.

She cried softly, hand clasping her mouth so she didn't make a sound as she relived her memories, where her father had murdered her mother in front of her, how he beat her after.

Then her thoughts drifted to Adam. How he would get so angry, he would grip her with so much force that she thought her could kill her with one hand. How he would look at her with disgust but no one noticed. No one noticed that at the same time Jess had bruises scattered on her face, bruises would lay on Adams's fists. No one noticed.

Monday rolled around, no one noticed Jess was absent, Adam had seemed to let it go, not caring. However when Tuesday arrived and Jess wasn't at school, Adam had become angry and Lucy finally noticed that the other girl was not there, making sure to tell Tobi.

Everyone had to tell Tobi if they noticed something off about the girl, he was making sure that Manny would be happy again, he was trying to get Manny his best friend back. And Lucy knew that Tobi wouldn't hurt Jess. She knows about his feelings towards the girl, even if he didn't himself.

If it was any other girl, he wouldn't think twice about hitting them, but Jess was different to him. She intrigued the older boy. She didn't back down, didn't run away from him. She didn't feel threatened by him and he knew why. He knew all about her, thanks to Vik.

Then it was Wednesday. The day everyone seemed to hate. Jess had made her way into school, limping. She seemed physically exhausted and upset so nobody approached her. People still talked about her though, still laughed at the girl but she was too weak to fight back.

She slowly made her way to her photography class, having to walk past Manny and his friends, causing her to speed up.

"Something bad is going on, I know it" Lucy had said which was louder than she anticipated, causing the other girl to hear. Jess had stuffed her hands in her jumper pockets, trying to not think about anything to do with the situation going on.

"Jessica!" Adam had tried calling for her, he was mad with the girl. The night before, she had tried to fight back, which caused her limp. He had thrown her down her stairs after she refused to do things with him and his friends.

She finally had enough. Jess ignored his calls, not wanting to face him since last night. The girl flinched as a hand grabbed her shoulder.

"Don't you fucking ignore me." Adam sneered into the small girl's ear causing the girl to look to the floor, mumbling out a small apology as she sighed.

"What you did yesterday was not okay, do you want Manny to get hurt?"He muttered causing the girl to hold her breath, she wasn't going to let Manny be hurt.

"No, please don't hurt him" She whispered out as he grabbed her wrists, squeezing them slightly as she glanced around.

"Then let me do what I want." Adam kissed the girls cheek making her flinch ever so slightly. Little did they know. The sidemen were near the two, hearing the whole conversation. They all noticed the way Tobi's jaw tightened as Jess let her head then to the side, trying to get herself away from the boy.

"Stop fucking wimping around, I'll see you later." He muttered, pushing her away from him slightly before walking away. Manny had noticed the girl hadn't moved and decided to walk over to the girl. He was angered but he had a plan.

"Jess, do you hate me? Because if you do, just tell me" Tobi watched on, confusion writhing through his head.

"What- I-" She had started but Manny saw the girls eyes flash to Adam who had turned at the sudden interaction.

"Leave me alone." The small girl muttered before walking away. Adam had a light smirk as he walked away, chuckling to himself.

"Manny! Why'd you do that?!" Tobi had pulled his brother back to the group. "Oh, I only slipped a piece of paper in her pocket saying to meet me, if she doesn't, I'm done trying" Manny weakly smiled at his brother before making his way to his photography class.

Little did anyone know, but the day wasn't going to be going so smoothly.
