Jess stayed with Tobi while he was unconscious , speaking to the boy about each day , what had happened , anything really. Days on end the girl would sit in Tobi's room , making sure the boy was okay. Each time she walked into the boys , she wished for him to be awake- for him to at least say something ,to be snarky , anything. But every time she walked into Tobi's room , she was met with silence. No snarky comments on how the girl was constantly checking up on him. Nothing.
Manny tried getting the girl out of the room but from hearing her speaking to his unconscious brother , he was confused , so he seeked Lucy's help. "Lucy , can we have a quick chat please" Manny spoke tentatively causing Lucy to snap her neck from looking up to him so fast. She gave him a nod , climbing off her boyfriend , the two proceeding to walk towards the kitchen , Manny grabbing both of them a dr. pepper.
"So what is it that you want to talk about?" Lucy asked , sipping on her drink , Manny sighing before speaking "it's about Jess-""What do you like her or something" Lucy rushed out , wanting to know about everything in that moment. "Lu!No! She's my best friend , i'm just confused , she's really attached to Tobi at the moment and i don't think she's aright" Manny exclaimed , making the girl understand that he only thought of her as a best friend nothing more romantic.
"What have you heard?" Lucy asked , glancing at the boy in front of her as she didn't know what to think. "She was speaking to him , saying that she can't speak to me about some things , then i heard her start to cry , i just don't know what to do" Before Lucy could speak , another voice had interrupted the conversation.
"I'm sorry for listening in on your guys' conversation , but i just think you need to spend more time with her , let her warm up to the new environment , she hasn't had friends , so all of this is new to her , it's how i felt when you guys took me in" The two looked towards the doorway seeing Ethan stood there , a small smile etched onto his face as he looked at the two. They just stared at each other before Ethan spoke up again "Oh and she's leaving the house"
Manny's eyes widened , thanking the ginger before walking out of the room , seeing the girl at the front door. "So , where are you going?" The boy questioned , crossing his arms , an eyebrow raising in confusion. Jess turned to Manny , a small smirk on her face as she spoke "Come with me if you want" Manny chuckled , slipping on his shoes , before grabbing his keys from the side table , Jess smiling softly as she opened the door , Manny following the girl as they approached his motor bike.
"Where are we going?" manny asked , climbing onto his bike first , the girl climbing on after , wrapping her arms around the boys waist , answering "To town". Manny nodded , starting his bike up , and they left. It was becoming night as they slowed down to a stop , Jess hopping off the back , Manny following after. "So what are we doing" The boy asked , causing Jess to smirk once more , pulling on the boys sleeve. Manny chuckled , staring at the girl as she pulled him to a kebab shop. "I'm taking you for that kebab" Jess mumbled as she turned to the boy , her eyes being stuck to the floor.
Manny let out a small laugh , the girl glancing up to him , seeing him give her a toothy grin made her feel less awkward. "Well what are we waiting for , let's go!" Manny said , now dragging Jess into the fast food shop , rushing to the counter. The two soon got their food , both laughing a the fact that jess got her drink spilled over another person. The two then rushed out of the shop , being chased by an angry manager because of the two trashing the shop. Manny dragged Jess to the famous London bridge , both sitting on the edge , their feet dangling down towards the water.
"Do you ever think of jumping?" manny spoke as the girl threw the two empty kebab box's into the bin , returning to sit next to him. "What off the bridge?" She questioned , her face holding no emotion. "yeh like do you ever just want to disappear?" Manny finished , staring out at the building next to the water. Drunk laughs filled the teens ears as silence passed through the two. Jess sighed , eyeing the boy "yeh""how often" Hurt seeped through the boys voice as he spoke. Jess saw his eye's droop as she spoke "All the time" Manny pulled the girl to his side , his hand gripping the girls waist as he whispered "Well let's jump together" The two looked into each others eyes before Manny pulled the girl off the bridge with him , the two holding each other silently as they hard the yells and screams from the people who witnessed what had happened.
