Chapter 29 - Come On!

Patton's P.O.V

He just...

Bolted out of there.

Like there was something better to do.

He was in such a hurry as well. I hope he doesn't get in too much trouble with the teacher for just leaving like that.

"Well he's getting detention when he comes back," The teacher said in a cheerful tone, "Well...if he comes back?"

~~~After School~~~

The final bell rang and crowds of teenages ran out of the small doorway, out of the class room as if it was black Friday.

I packed my things away and took out my phone. As I scrolled down to Janus's contact, I saw a new text message.

Janus 💛: Logan is awake! Get the others yo the hospital now. The adolescence ward and bed 2.3.

Patton💙: Thank god

I felt my face heat up as warm tears flowed down my cheek in relief.

I threw my bag on my back and ran to find the others.

"EMILE!" I screamed down the hallway.

"PATTON? You're face is red? What happened?" He inquired.

"It's Logan..." Sweat rolled down my face as I was catching my breath.

"He better not have died on me yet, he hasn't helped me with my math homework yet," Emile always said trivial things when he was trying to distract himself from the worse case scenario that always tugged at his brain.

"No, not at all! Come on!" He stared at me with the same tear splashing to the ground as I did before.

"WELL COME ON!" He grabbed my hand as we both ran down the hallway slowly but surely collecting the others, each slowly being filled with hope and relief.

I slammed my front door open as I yelled into the void that was my house, "MOM WE NEED A RIDE TO THE HOSPITAL!"

"LOGAN WOKE UP?!" I heard a reply as things clattered onto the ground near by.

"YEAH HE DID!" Iheard jingling of keys as my mother slowly followed stumbling to the car.

Now the long ride with Remus, Virgil, Emile and Remy. Thank gosh my car has extra seats.
