"ARE YOU ALL READY!" Patton's mother yelled from I pressume the front door.

"YEAH! AFTER WE VISIT LOGAN CAN WE GO BUY JAMMY SOME CLOTHES! THEY MOSTLY GOT BURNT IN THE FIRE!" I felt a chill go down my spine. I appreciate the sentiment though, Patton's clothes wouldn't last me forever. Blue isn't exactly the best colour on me.

"Okay lets go guys!" Patton turned to us in his usual cheery voice. It really felt like the only consistent thing ever.

"Wait should we bring like something to do, like a boardgame, Logan likes those," Virgil suggested before we left the room.

"Yeah that sounds good," Remy started rummaging around where he thought Patton would keep his games.

"THERE WE GO! Cluedo!" Remy announced as he brought out the game from where ever he found it, Patton's room wasn't the most organized.

"I'll carry it, I've got the least things anyway," Loki offered as he took the box of playing pieces.

The painful drive to the hospital was one we often took. It felt like Lo always seemed to have the worst luck and always ended up in there, it was kind of amusing, yet sad as well, but there's nothing we can really do about it.

"How long you'd reckon he'd be in that place," Remus asked, turning to me. They had all deemed me the second smartest, after Lo of course.

"Well it's pretty severe burn so I'd say around 5 more days," The only reason I knew that is because I looked it up this morning whilst I was waiting for the others to finish their food. They were pretty slow eaters.

Soon we arrived there.

The dirty white walls with the worn down light red frames, the name of the hospital looked like it was holding on for life. It was always a miserable looking place. With miserable or beautiful things containing it.

But nowadays it only felt like miserable things.

I felt a hand on my shoulder,  "Jan, we're right here with you," Virgil comforted me, I'm still so grateful for the other day.

I nodded in response as I took Patton's hand as he had offered it out for me.

Unfortunately, we'd have to wait a bit for the board game as they were doing the madatory check to make sure nothing that could harm anyone was in there.

"Hey Lo,"

"Sup Logan,"

"Heya, glasses,"

"Hi-lo Logay,"

"Hello Logan!"

"Morning!"

We all said our greeting as Logan smiled as he sat up slowly. "Greeting, all of you," his smile was so soft and humble, as if cherishing every moment as if he's stared death in the eyes, telling him to make the most of it.

"We brought a board game!" Patton enthusiastically told him.

"But it's still being checked so we can't play it right away," Remy informed him.

"That's alright, so how have you all been lately?" He asked us all, starting a conversation.

Remus had his thinking face on again, we new he'd answer first so we waited for him to speak, "I began tracking down my sister! I now know her name!" He finally announced to everyone.

"That's great new Ree, what's her name?" Logan followed up.

"It is...." Remus pulled out a small piece of paper with, I assume, his sister's name on it, "Camilla,"

We all simultaneously started oooo-ing at her name. It felt like a miracle that he found out that much already.

"That's a nice name," Logan told him as Remus sat by him, holding his hand.

"Alright kiddies! Cluedo Time!" Patton's mom came over with the board game and becang setting it up on Logan's table, she moved the water first in fear of spilling it everywhere.

It was a good game!

Patton and Emile descided to team up, they didn't get that close to finding out who the murderer was.

Virgil had only one turn left before he would win but Remus and Logan got there before he could.

Remus and Logan teamed up so it'd be easier than taking forever on turns and also Remus could imagine the scenario in his mind so that was an asset as well, they were very private about their next moves though so none of us could eavesdrop on them.

Loki was at least closer than Patton and Emile, he had one room left to cheak but 2 wepons and 2 people.

I was runner up to Remus and Logan as I also only had one turn before I'd be able to win.

All in all, it was a good day.

"Alright! Let's get going so you all aren't late home!" Patton's mom began clearing away the boardgame as she rallied all the children, "Good bye Logan, I hope you feel better soon,"

"Wait..." Everyones eyes were now on me, "Where am I going to stay?"

"You can stay with me for now!" Remus offered.

"Return my clothes when ever you want Jammy, or keep them," He subtly laughed at his statement.

"Alright, bye Lo, I'll visit tomorrow,"

"Make sure to keep up with your work, don't fall behind because of me," He told me with a small smile.

I waved him goodbye as we all left to go to the car.

Before we all got dropped off to our respective houses Patton's mom brought me some clothes that would last me a bit so I wouldn't have to borrow anymore which was kind of her.

"We have a guest room so you can stay in there," Remus' mom told me.

"Thank you for letting me stay here," I thanked her for all the trouble I'd probaly put her through, I have some of the worst luck.

She had a sort of triumphant smirk on, "A bit more talkative now, that's good to hear kiddo," She ruffled my hair before leaving to tend to her cooking.
