*The Next Day*
"Just like old times," I slightly smile as I slide into the Tweek Bros Café booth after Kyle and before Butters. "Worship and then come here to talk about random shit while we eat way too many sweets."
"I eat the perfect amount of sweets, thank you," Cartman scoffs as he slides into the other side of the booth before Stan.
"I honestly didn't think you wanted to hang out with us on Sunday afternoons here because you kept sitting with your sisters," Stan says. "We didn't want to pressure you into sitting with us either, so we just waited until you were ready."
"I was already taking quite a few steps toward normal, and I didn't want to just leap into something without knowing how I was feeling," I say. "I mean, we all remember what happened during movie night, so I would like to try and have that never happen again."
"Don't worry about that, Rosa," Kyle says, placing a hand on my shoulder. "You should have seen some of the breakdowns that I had when I was a kid."
"Kyle would go crazy when people wouldn't listen to him," Stan chuckles. "I mean, when you're like the smartest kid in the entire grade, I'm sure that it can get annoying when people refuse to acknowledge that he knows what he's talking about."
"I think that most adults didn't listen to us because we were kids," Butters speaks up. "We could be smartasses at times, so I don't blame them for brushing us off at times. I'm not saying that it was right, but they had good reason to be wary about whatever crazy thing we brought up."
"Like what kind of crazy thing?" I look around at the boys.
"I was abducted by aliens," Cartman says. "I also had a chip implanted in me to shock me whenever I would swear, which was the worst time of my entire life."
"I got extremely sick protecting some baby cows," Stan says. "I ended up in the hospital because not eating meat after having always done so will harm your body. The cows were saved in the end, so at least some good came out of it."
"I remember we all joined a cult once, had to shave our heads," Kyle nods. "It was really hard to tell us all apart when we were bald and wearing the same outfit. The fact that we were even able to join as children still blows my mind."
"Honestly, it kind of makes sense, since children are most convincible," I shrug. "Not that it is right in anyway, but they were targeting a fairly good group."
"I remember when I wrote a book that was disgusting, and people were just in shock and awe at it," Butters says. "I hadn't even written the first book that got so popular, but everyone was asking for another, so I felt that I had to try. I'm not even sure what happened to those books."
"Probably all burned," Stan chuckles. "That would be the best and only place that they deserve to be. I can't believe we were ever able to write a story like that."
"You guys are so weird," I shake my head.
"And what are you? Completely normal?" Cartman questions.
"I am weird right along with you, but not to the same extent. I mean, I have heard tons of stories, and I would say that I have never done anything like what has happened in South Park. Other than that month I lived here before."
"Oh come on," Kyle turns to face me as best he can in the booth. "There has to be one story from when you lived anywhere but here that is somewhat close to the craziness that has happened here."
