*The Next Day*

I reach for the sky, feeling my back stretch out after sitting on bleachers for a couple hours. "Not every game is going to be like that, but it is nice to see the boys dominate," I chuckle, nudging my shoulder against Red's.

"We didn't even have to stand up to do our cheers, the energy down there was intense," Red giggles, pointing down at the boys on the field as they shake the other teams hands, thanking them for a good game.

The first game of the tournament went as good as it could go in our favor. This team was ranked fairly low due to their performance last year, and we used this game as a warm up for next. Not a single error for us, multiple homeruns, and Stan threw a perfect game to ensure that he gets us through enough innings next game. The score in the end was 15-0. I can't even begin to imagine how the other team feels, but they had to have seen it coming, being paired against the reigning champs.

"Okay everyone," Wendy uses her plastic megaphone to gather everyone's attention. "The boys are going quickly clean up in the locker room, and then we are going to meet them at the picnic table area. We already have a plan to get food for all of us, so let's head out. We probably have a couple hours until the next game, but don't dilly-dally."

Our group begins to gather up whatever they brought, and then we are all exiting the stands and heading towards the nice picnic area that this place has. A couple of us have to make some stops to grab various food items from different stands. We have plenty of hotdogs, nachos, chilly-cheese fries, and some other food items to feed all of us kids. All of it being set up on multiple picnic tables just as the boys reach the area.

"Great win boys!" All us girls shouts, causing all the boys to break out into big smiles.

"Grab whatever food you'd like, find a seat, and recharge for the next game," I motion to the tables. "And thank your pitcher for that amazing game."

The boys begin patting Stan on the back, giving all kinds of praise to the boy. Once that is done, we all snatch whatever food we want, finding a place to sit while we eat. I end up at a picnic table with Kenny, Stan, and Wendy.

"That was an impressive game, babe," Wendy presses a kiss to Stan's cheek.

"I don't think I've ever pitched that good in my life," Stan shoves some nachos into his mouth. "A no-hitter is impressive no matter what level."

"That team had clearly given up about halfway, and just wanted the game to end," Kenny takes a big bite of his hotdog.

"Hopefully, next game, you'll let us cheer for you more," I rest my head on Kenny's shoulder. "We could tell how hyped up you were without us, and we didn't think our cheering would help that much."

"I look forward to the chants that you've come up with," Stan grins.

"We tried our best, but some of them aren't that creative," I chuckle.

"I like our posters the most," Wendy says. "That's what we put the most effort into. We wanted those to show how serious we were to the other teams we go against. That we would spend hours working on posters."

"I like the matching shirts you all have," Kenny feeds me a couple fries. "The girlfriends have their boyfriends number on their backs, right? Or was it all just random?"

"Nope, that's right," Wendy says. "There's more of you boys than us girls, though, so we also have all the other numbers on our sides." She lifts an arm, turning to show off the arms down the side of the shirt. "That way no one is left out." She lets her arm fall back to her side.
