*A Couple Hours Later*
"Come on Kyle," I clasp my hands together, setting them under my chin. "One run is all we need."
We've finally made it to the final inning of the championship game after the rain delay, then the boys had to warm back up, and then the game was set back in motion. After the delay, the runs started coming in for both teams. It was stressful to be down at times, but we rallied back each time. Now we are tied in the final inning, with Kyle up to the plate with one out. We came into this inning down, but we cheered hard for the boys to get some runs back on the board. Stan is on third and Cartman on second. All we need is one run to take home this tournament one more time. To prove that South Park is able to do anything we put our minds to.
"Just one run, Kyle!" The girls and I shout together.
This game has brought a lot of drama with the pitcher of the other team hitting multiple of our players. I don't remember the name of the pitcher, and I doubt the girls I ran into earlier where able to tell the team about me and who I have turned into, but each boy that got hit felt like an attack on me. The kid got told off a couple times, and eventually had to be pulled from the game, so I have felt better ever since.
Kyle dodges a ball that was going right at his thigh, no doubt cussing at what we all take as a deliberate throw to hit and injure him. He settles back in his stance, ready to smash one as far as he needs to ensure that Stan is able to make it to home base.
Which is exactly what Kyle does. He smashes one far into the outfield, but it is unfortunately caught. However, Stan tags up, rushing with all his speed towards home. The outfielder isn't able to throw the ball all the way home, and the time to transfer from him to an infielder gives Stan just enough time to slide into home before the catcher is able to secure the ball for the tag out.
"YES!" The South Park crowd erupts into the biggest cheer. All of us jumping out of our seats as we go crazy.
The boys rush at Stan as the are no doubt cheering along with us. All of them coming together in a big group hug as the other team collapse onto their knees in utter disbelief. The shock of losing hitting them hard as the euphoria of our win is running through our veins. This is truly the highlight of this entire trip.
"Come on," Wendy motions for us to follow her down to the field. "We have to go congratulate them right now!"
Somehow we are able to make it down to the field without much trouble. Then we all rush right at the boys, giving them all hugs and congratulations in a blur of voices and laughter and cheering. I get so many hugs from all the boys, and eventually I end up off to the side with Kenny.
"I'm so fucking proud of you babe," I widely smile, placing my hands on his face to bring him down enough to be able to connect our lips. "So fucking proud," I mumble.
He places his hands on my hips to steady me, pressing his lips against mine with more passion than I would know what to do with. He's all sweaty from the intense game, but I can't even focus on that with how much I love him. "That was a difficult game, but we all told each other that we could do it. That we could do it for you girls," he places his forehead on mine. "Even when we were down going into that last inning, I knew we could do it. I knew that we could pull out the win. Fuck, tonight is going to be amazing."
I giggle, "I can't believe that you are already thinking about that. I'm still in awe of the game I just witnessed. In awe of all the runs that you brought in."
"Just keep your focus on me then," he smirks. "I'm actually thinking about the huge celebration dinner that the boys and I planned out during the rain delay. Hopefully, Stan tells Wendy to order it soon because I think we are all starving."
