*The Next Day*

"Alright class," Miss Woods clasps her hands together, coming to stand in front of us. "I was thinking that it is time for us to do another group project. This time on a specific era of time that you find interesting, and then looking into all the important people and events surrounding that time. It can be as recently or far back in history as you want to go. I think we should do groups of three for this one, but I am also okay with pairs. Today will be a figuring out what everyone is going to focus on, and then you will work on brainstorming how you will research and present the information that you gather over the next couple of weeks. Now, pick your partners!"

"Rosa, are we good to pair up?" Red widely smiles.

"I wouldn't want it any other way," I twirl my pencil between my fingers. "Would you like another person with us, or do you like just doing projects with me?"

"Hey Kenny," Red leans to look at Kenny on the other side of me. "Want to join us, or are you pairing up with a couple of the guys?"

"I mean, I have a feeling that if I don't pair up with you, then Cartman is going to make me pair up with him, so yeah, I'll join up with the two of you," Kenny flashes a smile. "I don't have any preference over what time period we do, so if you girls have an idea, I am good with anything."

"Scoot your desks closer," I motion for them to move closer to me. "What do you two think about the time around the Berlin Olympics before World War II broke out?"

"That is quite specific, which would mean that we would probably find a lot to talk about," Red nods a few times. "I'm sure there's something that each of us would find interesting."

"Kenny, can you be a dear and go write our time up on the board?" I bat my eyelashes, slightly pouting at him.

"Of course, princess," he chuckles, pressing a kiss to my cheek before heading up to the board.

"I think this will be a good group," Red says. "Both Kenny and I already spend a lot of time over at your house, so we'll be set to get a lot of work done. Plus, I think the three of us know how to have a good time. This project is going to be a lot of fun."

"I'm surprised you asked Kenny to join us."

"He's smart, a good worker, and we both like him. You more than me," she giggles.

"A lot more than you," I giggle along with her.

"Anyways, I just thought it would be nice to have us together. Each of us brings a different style of telling ideas to the table, so it will be fun to create a visual."

"Okay girls, how do you want to start diving into research?" Kenny asks as he steps back up to us and takes his seat.

"When need to figure out a start and end date, so we don't look up too much," I reply. "Then we can either break that down, or find major events within that time that we find interesting. I think we should figure out how we are going to present our information first, though."

"Same," Red nods. "That way I can start to write certain facts into a way that we can then easily transfer to whatever we are doing."

The rest of the class period is spent brainstorming was to create a visual that is appealing to the eyes, as well as have all the important information easily and clearly flow. Once we decide on a couple of poster boards and a drawing from myself, we move onto the research portion. We don't get that far into researching, as the bell for lunch stops us. Still, we got a lot done in half a days work, and I know that we are going to be in a lot of hours to make this good.
