Chapter 3

Yibo's POV

My mind is full of mixed feelings. Sorrow because I find him in pain, anger towards those who caused him the pain, and a little bit of happiness that after 6 years I found him at last.

I parked by bike near an abandoned factory and went inside with a stoic face. I am really popular with my expressionless face and cold attitude. I am really good with hiding my true emotions with that.

The old factory is situated in the outskirts of Beijing city and it is really nice cover for ware house. The ware house of the Shadows..

The shadows one of the ruthless gang in Beijing along with 'The Devils'. The capo of 'The Shadows' is He Peng, to whom I am gonna meet today. FML.

'Yibo, where were you..? come fast.. the He Peng is going nuts without seeing you.." Kaun ge came to me and said while panting because he was rushing towards me. Kaun ge is one of the main assassin of shadows, he is good with guns. Even though he looks like a calm and collected person, he is a sniper and ruthless when he wants to be. But is more like a big brother to me of the anchor that keeps me sane.

We entered the hall together and saw He Peng, Su She, Xu Yang and Seungyounstanding there. He Peng is the capo and Su she and Xu yang is his most trusted persons. Both of them are too cunning and loyal to He Peng. Sometimes I cant blame them, here it is matter of kill or be killed..

He peng looked at me in an annoyed face. " Yibo, where were you all night today we have another match.. this time the sum is quite big, I hope you know what to do and the consequences of your loosing.."

" I know... just cut the crap and tell me the time and place" I hissed not paying much attention to him.

I can see su she and Xu Yang gritting their teeth and Seungyoun stand behind kaun ge.

"the usual place, at 7 pm. Be ready Yibo...."

" okay.. I will.. I am going to practice..." I replied and turned towards Seungyoun and kaun ge to signal them to follow me. They understood immediately and followed me.. I can still feel the eyes of the three of they trying to poke a hole behind my head with their gaze. What a bunch of crack heads..

I joined this gang forcefully. He peng used me as an elite fighter in his bet matched and told me win those matched otherwise say goodbye to your brother. Yes brother Seungyoun. When I was 10 years old my mother got murdered and I was left alone. I never knew my father, I don't want to also. After the death of my mother, uncle Lan Qiren took me in. Seungyoun was his adoptive child who was half Korean. Lan Qiren uncle had taken money from the Shadows for Seungyoun's surgery, as he was suffereing from a heart disease and needed a surgery. Uncle owned an auto mobile mechanic shop and as I started staying with them I used to help around uncle. One day, He Peng's men came for the money as uncle couldn't pay back on time and they threatened and beat my uncle. When we tried to resist he asked us to work for hime so that the debt can be cleared. In my age of 14, I started working for He Peng. First I helped him around in the office and then he assigned me in bet matches and always threatens me if I didn't win my brother will suffer. These fights made me unstoppable and then eventually I turned into a monster... that's a story for another time.

I was warming up in the gym while being watched by Kaun ge. He asked me about my where about yesterday. " I finally found him ge...". That's was my reply and I maintained my cold attitude and Kaun ge knows that I am not willing to discuss about this subject in the warehouse and he also know I will tell him eventually.

When the time of the fight came, I went to the place accompanied by Seungyoun. The places was filled with people, everyone was cheering for me as well as for my opponent. My opponent called known as Hulk in the underground. He was really tall and muscular and I can see the veins which are visible through his muscles.

We took positions in the ring. I have faced different types of opponents and he is the most difficult one I guess.

" Today you will go down DD. The era of the DD will be over soon. " he challenged. I had always my facemask on during each fight so that I don't have to reveal my identity. I am knows as DD or Dare Devil.

I am not easily provoked by the challenges and I know I have to keep a cool and calm mind so that I wont end up caught by the Hulk, I am sure, if I got caught between his hands, he will crush me.

The referee blown the whistle and match started. We were circling in the ring in an attempt to study the other moves. Hulk attacked first which I dodged successfully. This moves startled him, without even giving him time to think what happened, I attacked him through several punches in his face, stomach and abdomen. He was wincing in pain. Suddenly to my surprise he regained his composure and threw a punch and which I received in my face. I coughed out a mouthful of blood. And something snapped in me. When I saw the blood all I can think about was Xiao Zhan.. his face, his pain and the anger to beat up those who caused him pain raised in me and I lost my cool behaviour.

It was like the whole atmosphere changed, all I can see was red. With quick movements I beat the shit of the opponent. Even after his defeat, I kept on punching him which surprised everyone.

" DD.. Enough, the fight is over. Lets go..." he said stopping my fist. I reluctantly let go and went with him.

I was fuming with anger and my knuckles are already covered by bruises.

" what were you thinking, you were about to kill that guy.. I never saw you loose control in ring.. whats wrong Bo.. you know.. you can tell me.."

" I want be alone for sometime ge.. can you please take Seungyoun to home I will come after sometime.." , I asked him without facing him. I have no courage to face him. Not now.

He just hummed and went home with Seungyoun. I know Seungyoun wanted to ask me if I am okay. Before going with Kaun ge, Seungyoun came to me and held me hand. I gave him gentle squeeze of his hand to let him know don't worry. And he left.

I went towards the motorcycle and ride towards the downtown of Beijing, took my laptop from my bag and I accessed the CCTV camera footage of the near by places of the bridge where I found zhan in order to find those punks who caused Zhan pain. It didn't take much time to find them and fortunately I saw them roaming around the nearby bar.

I put my face mask, my black beanie and black cooling glass, went towards them.

"hai good evening" with that I just beat the shit out of them and left. They were like three giants but I was fast and I have 5 years of fighting expertise, they can't beat me that easily. After that I returned to my bike and mounted it.

Suddenly a voice spoke out and I startled.

" So you took your revenge? But for what ? for whom?"

 thank you guys for being patient with me. from next chapter onwards the story will progress in a good way combining both scenes of Zhan and Yibo.
