Author's POV

"Boom.."

The sound of the explosion..., suddenly the darkness of that place is replaced by the light of the fire flames. Everyone turned towards the direction of that explosion to find the containers that the Devils just unloaded are on fire. Suddenly every lights came back. Upon informing fire force and extra police force came into the location within 10 minutes. Team 1 and 2 officers rushed towards the spot, to find the lifeless body of Wen Chao, he was shot at directly at the head and chest. From the looks of that wound, the gun was fired from near to his position. The bullet pierced through his head. Almost all the gang members are laying down unconscious. Ambulance and the police vehicles came and took everyone away.

"How the hell this happened in a minute.. who can do this?" Li Bowen exclaimed removing his helmet in frustration.

" I don't know Bowen, but whoever they are, they are very skilled." Xiao Zhan said while looking around the crime scene.

"We came to arrest Wen Chao, and seize the weapons and drugs, now its all gone..." Yu Bin said.

"It looks like someone has grudge on them or someone is really trying their best to avoid us. They are taking risk by killing Wen Chao, because, they are afraid, if we capture him, he will expose them.." Xiao Zhan said

"This battle has become more dangerous. Zhan, you should be careful..." Li Bowen replied with a concerned tone and continued. "till now your cover is safe, but continue with caution. This shit is more complicated than we thought..."

Xiao zhan gave an understanding nod towards Li Bowen and continued to search the place thoroughly to find clues. After completing the preliminary investigation, everyone returned to their base at 12 am, where officer Nie Mingjue was waiting for him for the report. Everyone in the first team along with Nie Mingjue sat together in the conference hall.

Nie Mingjue: " SO what happened there?:" asked with a sigh.

Xiao Zhan: "from the first observation, it is clear that whoever did that their target is wen chao, and the containers."

Li Bowen : It is a properly calculated attack sir.. it is not sure, if it is team or one person..."

Yu Bin : (cut Bowen) Single person, considering the timing and all, I don't think so a single person can pull of this."

Xiao Zhan: I agree, it was perfectly calculated without any flaws, they cut the lights, then used smoke bombs as well as gases to make others fall unconscious and killed Wen Chao on point blank. The very moment Wen Chao died, they blasted the container. And then lights also came back..."

Zoey Ming: "Sir the officers reported that the Ship that delivered the containers to Wen Chao was there and while inspecting the ship, they found that almost every employee in the ship was unconscious or injured. Our team also captured them, they are also the gang members of XXXX place."

Nie Mingjue: "there are so many loose ends, we need to investigate this with much care. Officer Xiao, you can go back to your work from tomorrow, keep an eye for this matter, if you can find any proof against this.. inform us.. rest of you follow this case, Yu bin, you will also assist ths okay. Li Bowen will be heading this team. If you guys need consult from Xiao Zhan, you can ask, but make sure don't compromise his cover. Everyone ca go back, we will meet tomorrow 10 am here to discuss more. And zhan please be present."

With that said Nie Mingjue left the room. Bowen and Yu Bin offered Xiao zhan a ride, which he refused politely as he already brought his car. Zoey Ming also bid farewell to everyone and went near to zhan.

"Bye Zhan, Take care.. See you tomorrow.." she said while blushing so much.. Zhan find this gesture weird and he said with difficulty.. " Okay Ms. Zoey, Take care"
