Xiao Zhan's POV

Its been two days since I last saw Wang Yibo. He kind of disappeared from the face of earth leaving no trace. I have no idea where he is. I also tried tracking his phone or number but no use. The last location was my house. He turned it off while he was going out from my apartment that day. I have no idea, what is happening and why his absence affect me so much. I tried my best to compose myself and not think about him again. When I contacted Hai kuan ge, he is also telling me that he also don't have any idea, where he can be. What he is some kind of magician, who can vanish into thin air or something? Last two days without him, I tried my best to indulge myself with work. As everyone says, the show must go on. I cant let myself distracted from my work. But trust me I am not doing a good work in concentrating on the work at hand.

I have been trying to collect the information about DD from people. But the astonishing fact is that no one knows about him more than a few facts. He is deadly and powerful. He is ruthless and fearless. No one has ever seen his face and so no one can identify him, its like he is a ghost story. Yu Bin helped me collect some reports from the station about the gang attacks. There are some cases where the gangs like The Devils which were active in Beijing got attacked and no one was spared in that incident. The most important thing is that in all attacks, the culprit is still unknown. The reason behind them were same, no proofs or witnesses. We have a hunch that these are the doing of this DD, which my whole team thinks it is a team of people, because it is impossible to pull of the attack by a single person. But as for me, I don't know why, I am not ready to accept the fact that a team is behind it. That is DD is not a single person but a group of individuals, some kind of vigilantes. If you ask me why I called them vigilantes, they didn't cause the death of any innocents. Those who were murdered were criminals, and they deserved death. My heart strongly believes that DD is a single person. A very powerful, strong person. I don't know why but I think that the person who saved me on that day during the mission at The Devil's warehouse is DD. I have no proofs to prove my theory, but I simply believe it.

Today is the third day since Yibo left, I had to go to the station to deliver some reports to Officer Nie Mingjue. I reached there and greeted everyone and met with Officer Nie Mingjue. As I was taking my leave after briefing him the report, he stopped me.

"Officer Xiao.." He called me. I halted my steps and asked him. "Yes, Sir.."

"Officer Xiao, You are one of the best officers we have, I am very much impressed with your work. There is actually one thing I have to discuss with you.."

"Yes sir.. you can tell me.." I replied. He rose from his seat and went towards the cupboard and pulled out a file and gave me. I was confused and I looked at the file and looked at him with questioning eyes.

"Zhan it is an information about the Special agents Department. It is an agency of specialised agentswhich are trained for classified missions. They usually hire people from offices like this. We can recommend officers to join their team. Of course they have some criteria, if we feel someone fit those we can recommend them." He said.

"Sir.." I was about to speak but he cut me off.

"Officer Xiao, I want you to apply for it, if you are interested. I will give you the recommendation letter." He said and looked at me.

I was surprised and interested also. I always wanted to join them. The danger, the excitement everything is like a giving me an adrenaline pump. I really want to use this opportunity, I always dreamed about this."

"I would like to join sir.." I said politely.

He sighed and said. " I really don't like to give up my one of the best officers but talents like you deserve more.. in that folder, there is application form. Fill it and with necessary documents submit it by afternoon. I will send them to their office by today with recommendation letter."
