Author's POV

Upon receiving the call zhan got dressed, bid good bye to Yibo and drive away. During the car drive, he remembered the call

Zhan's call

Zoey : " Zhan, you have to come to the office right now. The Korean crime branch officer Mr. Jin Goo is here and he wants to meet you.."

Zhan : "okay. I will be there in 20 minutes..."He had to cut the call, as yibo was present in his house.

" lets find out what this Korean officer needs...". Zhan thought and drove towards the station. Upon raching the station, he got another call and it was from Zoey again. Zhan received the call.

Zhan : "Hai.. I am already reached the station building.."

Zoey : "where you want me to meet.. lets meet in the near by café."

Zhan : "but.. it is not good if I seen with you guys."

Zoey : "it is equally risk if you come to office also.. there is a private booth available and I booked it. we will meet mr. Jin Goo there.."

Zhan : "okay text me the address I will be there in a minute.."

At the cafe

Zoey and Jin Goo already seated inside the private table of the café and they ordered coffee for each other. After 5 minutes, they saw Zhan walking towards them, Zoey stood from her seat with clear sparkling in her eyes. That time she appears to be a teenage girls who was fan girling towards her crush. This change didn't go unnoticed by Jin Goo. He just smiled a little. "Love sick puppy..." he whispered to himself.

Zhan came and bowed to them. " Have a seat Zhan..." Zoey said with a sweet smile.

Zhan smiled awkwardly and sat down in the chair.

"Hello, I am Xiao Zhan.. " Zhan said politely to keeping his eyes on the Korean officer

"Hai.. Officer Xiao, I am Jin Goo, I am representing the team who is handling the case of bronze dragons." And he offered his hands for handshake which Xiao Zhan took confidently.

"hai.. Can you tell me? Why wanted to meet with me? Actually I am nit following this case anymore directly other than consulting because I m on another mission right now." Zhan asked wearing a serious expression on his face.

"Yes I Know. Officer Nie Mingjue already gave me the information. Officer Bowen and Ms. Zoey Ming actually suggested me that you have good insights about this case. I needed your help in strengthening the case against them. We have been on their tail for a long time, even though we couldn't catch the capo, we arrested some of his gang members thank to you."

"Actually, it is true that I got the information about the shipping, but we unfortunately, some other team tampered with our initial plan, they killed Wen Chao and blasted the containers. They also blasted smoke bombs which made all of them faint. Now we are on their tail."

"Another team..?" Jin Goo asked Zhan with a questioning look.

"Yeah, another team, we are investigating about it.. now we are at a dead end, but I guess we will get a break through." Zhan said with a sigh and a thin smile.

"Best of luck for that Officer Xiao.." Jin Goo said with an unnoticeable smirk. "only if you knew Officer Xiao.. that, its not a team, but a single person..." He said internally.

Seeing Jin Goo space out zhan inquired.. "is there anything wrong Officer Jin?"

Jin came up from his daze and answered politely. "No.. Nothing I was just thinking about the case.. anyways it's a headache of yours, I have to get back anyway. I hope you can share me the details regarding the deal, so that we can use it against them."
