Authors POV

"Long time no see Li Chen..."

"Meng Yao?" Wang Li Chen murmured.

Wang Li Chen's surprised eyes met with the colder eyes of Meng Yao. Wangji who was standing beside Meng Yao was also surprised to see the evident malicious which was visible on the normally charming face of his father. Wangji stood there as a statue watching them intently without even blinking. He knew his father is a dangerous person but he always kept his blood lust away from his face with a sly smile. Now the face of the man standing infront of him with a gun in his hand and smiling sinisterly towards Wang Li Chen is a completely different person. His dimples are visible and the smile that spread across his face is indeed filled with bad intentions. It was enough to send chills around them. Wangji held his ground while assessing the situation that is unravelled infront of him. Jackson was also present in the room but he was rather tensed.

When Wang Li Chen said the name Meng Yao, Haikuan was clearly surprised and shocked. He never thought that the person who is responsible for all this is Meng Yao and Wangji was also a part of his team. Haikuan couldn't even speak and he let the pressure of the situation to get him. Seeing the rather calm minded Haikuan panicking, Xiao Zhan said in a low voice which is only audible to Haikuan.

"Calm down Haikuan.. We will get through this.."

Wangji saw the movements of Xiao Zhan and for some reason he got irritated before he could d anything about it, Wang Li Chen spoke.

"How...?"

Wang Li Chen's gaze were on Meng Yao, he remained fearless. It was obvious to whom the question is intended. Meng Yao smiled and said.

"What can I say Li Chen..? My son over here is so incredible that it was a piece of cake for him. He managed to trick your son and your team. I cant even imagine this is your team..." Meng Yao's words were so insulting that Xiao Zhan and Haikuan had to gritted their teeth to keep themselves silent. Meng Yao glanced towards Haikuan and Xiao Zhan and then said.

"Aha... That's good. What a good boys you have.. They know how to keep their cool. Even though they are having a lot of trouble with that now.. " Meng Yao sneered.

"Ha.. This is the best feeling... I have waited for over twenty years to experience this. I am gonna savour this moment like my favourite dish. I am gonna make your regret all your doings Li Chen.." Meng Yao kept on talking like a madman...

"That doesn't answer my question Yao.. I asked how did you do it?" Wang Li Chen spoke still keeping his voice firm and fearless. Both Haikuan and Xiao Zhan was stunned by the calmness of Wang Li Chen in this very life and death situation.

"ooh.. Li Chen.. Chen.. All mighty and fearless in every situation. I guess the age doesn't affected the annoying nature of yours. Wangji tell them.." Meg Yao said.

Wangji stood there emotionless and said." I knew your plan already about the fake safe place. You shouldn't have underestimated me.. Atleast give me credit, i kind of took over your all network. I knew your plan. We were on your tails even from he beginning and now look where it got your guys.. On the verge of death..." Xiao Zhan's and HaiKuan's eyes shot up with shock.

 They cant even imagine what they are hearing now. The fact that Wangji looks exactly like Wang Yibo makes it even difficult for them. They want to hate the guys who schemed against them with all their heart but the face of Wang yibo is making it even more difficult. Jackson also were surprised sensing the ruthlessness he found in the tone of Wangji.

"How much Meng Yao tainted him? How can I let this happened? Why is it happening now?" Jackson thought painfully. "Wangji.. When did you got influenced by that monster.?"
