I spent several days in my room trying to evaluate everything on how I ended up like this.

I have been dodging about going to school. Probably, my secret is revealed by now. I am not adjusted to face the world ever since I misplaced my diary. How am I going to face Kai? At this point, I may never leave the house again.

"Minsang, get prepared for school!" My mom shouts, and I pretend like I didn't apprehend her. I heard the door open then PAM just one strike on my back. Ouch, what's wrong with her.

"Ouch, that hurt," I whimpered.

"Get up!" My mom demanded.

"No," I repudiated and pouted.

My mom rolled her eyes and sigh, "Fine. You better go tomorrow."

I smiled, "Thank you, mommy!"

~Kai's POV~

It has been four days since Minsang came to school. I am anticipating that she is coming today. It's like she dissipated secretly without anyone knowing and without any goodbyes. I don't know if I should be concerned or not.

~Minsang's POV~

~Next day~

I was finally coming out of hiding, but I still don't want to go. It's already going to be mortifying when I have to face Kai.

~School~

Before accessing the building, my body was quivering on its own. I prepared myself for people laughing, looking, and whispering at me, but I was inaccurate. Nobody was looking, laughing, or whispering at me.

I unlocked my locker to discover my diary there all along. You gotta be kidding me. It was here this whole time. I was distressed for nothing.

"Hey, Minsang," Someone said. I spun around to notice Kai, who was standing behind me.

"Hi, Kai." I smiled. Why is he talking to me? There are a lot of popular girls, but he desired to speak to me.

"I noticed that you were gone for a while," He mentioned. I am astonished that he detected that I was gone. I thought he wouldn't bother, wouldn't care, and wouldn't notice.

"Yea," I said.

"Can I have your number?" Kai asked. I couldn't believe my ears that he wanted my phone number. I could just collapse right now. I felt like jumping and squeling as if I'd won the lottery.

"Yea." I smiled and tried to act nonchalant.

I was in class, and my phone vibrated. I scanned my phone to see a message from Kai. Once I saw his name appear on my screen, my heart was beating swiftly. I can't tell if my heart's even beating. Kai offered to walk me home after school, and I accepted his offer.

Kai was waiting for me at the front of the gate. I immediately hurried so he wouldn't wait for long.

"Let's go." I smiled, and we walked together even though it was an awkward silence between us.

"I never got to ask you this, but are you okay ever since I dropped you off at the nurse's office? I always wondered if you were okay that day." Kai broke the silence.

"Yea, I don't know what was wrong with me that day either. I was fatigued, but that night I slept great, but I was fine once I took a rest in the nurse's office. I never got to thank you for that day," I mentioned.

"You're welcome. At least you are okay now." Kai smiled.

Kai made me laugh so much that I hardly realized that the walk was already over. I was in front of my door.

"Bye." I smiled at Kai, but I didn't want this to end.

"Bye. Sleep well." Kai waved goodbye, and I observed him leaving until I couldn't spot him.

I swiftly went up to my room and wrote about my day with Kai. I wanted to preserve these most favorable memories of Kai and I.
