Dear Diary || Kai [Revising & Editing]

It was a basic day at school, but I was trying to retrieve my diary. Knowing that nobody in the school knows that I like Kai means that nobody has it. Honestly, I don't know how I got to this point. I just need to backtrack my steps, and maybe I will find it. 

Let's begin with my locker. I started dumping my books on the ground and emptying my locker until I found my diary. Everything from my locker was on the floor, but my diary was nowhere to be found. Great, now I have to clean this clutter.

"What are you searching for?" Someone asked, which startled me, and caused me to jump a bit. It was just Kai. Oh, thank God.

"Ah, Kai, you scared me. I was just cleaning out my locker." I lied, placing my right hand on my chest, trying to catch my breath. I had to lie to Kai cause it's humiliating to say I am searching for my diary, especially in front of my crush. I don't want him to assume that I am a weirdo. 

"Do you need help cleaning that up?" Kai asked, and I nodded my head. 

After Kai finished helping me place my books back into my locker, and he walked me to my class. 

~Lunch~ 

I sat down at a table, eating my rice until something caught my attention. 

"Dear diary, Kai. I have a slight crush on Kai...okay, maybe not slightly, but a lot. He is popular, attractive, and talented. I bet I am not the only person who has a crush on Kai. I am not astonished cause he's way out of my league, and he wouldn't notice a girl like me. Probably, he like those glamours popular girls, which is the opposite of me. Kai is famous for his singing, dancing, and rapping. I guess you can say he is magnificent at everything he does. His smile makes my heartbeat insane. It's the most appealing thing I've ever seen. I wouldn't mind being just friends with him." I heard someone reciting my words from my diary. I swiftly whirled around. My eyes broadened, leaving me speechless. Kai...has my diary. 

I gulped my saliva, not knowing what to expect from him. I felt a ball of a fire expanding in the pit of my stomach. 

"Can I have it back?" I asked, pretending like it doesn't faze me, but really it was a huge shocker to me. 

"Do something for me, and you will get it back." Kai offered me a deal. 

"Never mind then, you can keep it. Tell the whole school I won't care." I lied. I got up and walked away. My big stupid mouth. What if he really tells the school then I really fucked up.
