I woke up due to the sunlight directly striking my eyelids. I reached for my phone that was on the nightstand. I received a reminder that Kai's birthday is in a couple of days. I have no clue what to get Kai for his birthday. I don't even know what he likes. I groaned and clenched my hair in frustration.

I headed out to the mall, trying to search for a present for Kai. I clicked my tongue in frustration, not knowing what to buy. I walked and searched around the men's department, and finally, something caught my eyes. I definitely think that Kai will love this.

I purchased Kai's gift and decided to buy some stuff for myself as well. As I was about to walk into the Chanel store, I ran into Kai.

"Hey, Kai, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"Nothing, just looking around," He answered. "What about you?"

"Just shopping," I said. I noticed that Kai's eyes were glued to my shopping bag.

Kai raised his eyebrows and asked, "You went to the men's department?" Looking confused and curious. I just hummed in response. I should've covered up the word men on the shopping bag, but I know that I would bump into Kai.

"Do you have a boyfriend?" Kai asked.

"No, I just went shopping for my dad." I lied.

"Oh, what a caring daughter you are." Kai smiled brightly, and his look of uncertainty totally disappeared. "Do you want to shop together?" I nodded my head, and we headed to the Chanel store.

I picked out some cute dresses and went to try them on.

~Kai's POV~

I was patiently waiting for Minsang to come out of the dressing room and present her dresses.

Minsang stepped out and displayed her dress. My eyes were glued on Minsang. She was gorgeous in her dress, and glancing at her made my heart pound, jump, and run around in circles. In my eyes, she was like a model who was on the runway.

"Kai! Kai! Kai!" Minsang called my name, but I didn't her cause I was too occupied admiring her beauty.

"Kai!" She called my name one last time, but this time a little louder.

"Huh," I answered.

"Which one should I buy?" She asked.

"All of them. Actually, I'll pay for it for you," I mentioned.

"No, it's fine." Minsang refused.

"I will pay for all of these," I informed the worker, and she took them to the counter.

I went to the cashier and paid for the dresses.

"Thank you." Minsang smiled, and when she smiled, Minsang lights up my world. She's beautiful when she smiles.
