Dear Diary || Kai [Revising & Editing]

~School~ 

I was at my locker, grappling my books. I was prepared to head to class. 

Someone flings their arms around my shoulder. I twirled around to face that person, and it was Kai. I smiled brightly at him. I was satisfied. 

"Let me walk you to class," Kai offered, and I nodded my head in response. 

As Kai and I were walking to class, it was awkward. That awkward silence and this time, Kai didn't bother to break the silence. Should I break the silence? 

Kai and I reached the classroom, and before entering the classroom, I thanked him. "Thank you for walking me to class." I smiled. 

"Anytime." He smiled, then ruffled my hair. My heart...why is it beating so hastily? We are just friends. 

Kai went his way. Suddenly, today was a fabulous day so far. I don't know why it was, but it was. Class was over, and as I headed out of the room, I detected Kai waiting for me. Kai seized my books out of my hand and carried them for me. 

"Don't burden yourself for carrying plenty of books," Kai mentioned. 

"It's fine. I can carry them." I resisted. 

"Nope, let me drop you off to your next class." He smiles. 

Kai walked into the classroom and placed my books on my desk. 

"Thank you once again." I smiled. 

"That's what friends are for. Also, let's have lunch together," He suggested. I couldn't believe my ears that he wanted to have lunch with me. Me, as in Lee Minsang. It feels as if I am dating him, but I wonder why is he amiable? 

"Okay," I said. Kai patted my head before exiting the classroom. 

Some part of me believes that all of this is a fantasy. Kai inviting me to lunch sounds like a dream that I would actually have. This gotta be fake, right?

~Lunch~ 

Kai waited for me outside my classroom and wrapped his arms around my shoulder while conducting the way to his table. Honestly, my heart was beating so swiftly that I was frantic that Kai could hear it. 

Kai and I got our food together and sat down at a table with eight other dudes. They were also handsome, but if Kai asks, I never said that. I have noticed them around, and most of the time, they are with Kai. So I am assuming that they are Kai's friends. 

"Minsang, I would like you to meet Chanyeol, Baekhyun, Lay, Suho, Chen, Xiumin, D.O, and Sehun." Kai pointed them out for me. 

"Guys, this is Minsang," Kai introduce me. 

"Hi, I'm Minsang," I greeted and smiled at them. 

"Hi," They greeted back. So far, I think they are chill people. 

"They are my friends and also my members," Kai explained. 

For the remaining school day, I was hanging out with Kai and his friends. To be honest, I felt a different type of satisfaction that I never felt before. When I was with them, I never noticed how the time flies so instantly, and it was the end of the school day.
