Dear Diary || Kai [Revising & Editing]

It was early in the morning, and I was still in bed, staring at the ceiling. I should freshen up and prepare myself for the day. I entered the lavatory and refreshed myself. 

Once I finished washing up, I went back to my bed. I grasped my phone, and I saw a text message from Kai. My heart ran around in circles just by seeing his name on my screen. 

Kai: What are your plans for today? 

Me: Nothing, just staying home. 

Kai: Do you want to see a movie together? 

Me: Sure. 

I immediately changed into something lovely. It's been a while since Kai, and I hung out together. My heart kept on thumping loudly. I was excited as if this feeling was a new feeling to me. 

~Movie theater~ 

I entered the movie theater, and I spotted Kai standing there scanning around the theater. A smile appeared on my face and I approached him. 

"Did you wait for long?" I asked. 

"Not really. I already picked a movie for us," Kai mentioned. "It's a frightening movie." Kai winked at me. My heart...why is it beating so rapidly? It was just a wink.

"I don't like scary movies." I pouted. 

"If you get scared, I'll protect you." Kai smiled and tossed his arms around my shoulder. 

Before the entering the theater Kai and I grabbed one bag of popcorn and our drinks. 

While watching the movie, a terrifying scene appeared, and I jumped into Kai's chest. Ah, it was really frightening that I couldn't watch it anymore. Kai stroked my hair lightly, and his warmth felt calming and comforting. My heart was beating so quickly and loudly. I was afraid he could hear it.

Watching a movie with Kai or being in his embrace. Gosh, I didn't know which one was more exciting. 

~After the movie~ 

"Finally, it's over." I smiled. No more scary stuff and no more horrifying scenes. I was relieved even though I missed being in Kai's embraced. 

"You are cute when you are scared," Kai mentioned, and it made my heart fluttered. 

"Yah, stop teasing me." I pouted, and he pinched my cheeks teasingly. He hugged me from behind, resting his chin on my shoulder. We arent't a couple, but it sure did feel like we were.

"Come on. I'll walk you home." Kai wrapped his arms around my shoulder, pulling me closer to him. I'm undoubtedly falling in love with you. I never knew that I could fall so fast.
