Dear Diary || Kai [Revising & Editing]

Today is Kai's birthday and we are celebrating at his house along with EXO. Well, EXO and I are throwing a surprise birthday party, and Kai doesn't have a clue about this surprise party. 

I headed over to Kai's house, and I rang the doorbell. Chanyeol unlocked the front door for me, and I entered the house. 

"Hey, Chanyeol," I greeted him. 

"Hi, Minsang," He greeted back with a big smile on his face. 

As I entered the house, I greeted the rest of the boys. I placed my gift on the table where the rest of the presents were. I assisted the boys in decorating the house with balloons and setting up the table. 

Lay got a text from their manager saying that Kai is on his way home. EXO and I turned off all the lights and hid behind the furniture. I can't wait to see the expression on his face. 

We heard the keys rattling inside the doorknob. I glanced at EXO and mouthed 1, 2, 3. 

We all jumped out at the same time and shouted, "Surprise!" Kai was utterly appalled, but he still had a smile on his face. I approached him. 

"Happy birthday!" I beamed and gave him a firm hug. 

"Thank you." He smiled and hugged me tightly. 

Sehun and Xiumin delivered the cake out, and we began singing happy birthday. Before Kai blew out the candles, he made a wish. Kai cut the cake into a slice, and he took a spoon and held it up to my face. 

"Say ahh." He sounded out. I let Kai feed me the cake. My face slightly turned red. I wanted to have a little fun, so I wiped frosting off the cake with my finger and placed it on Kai's cheek. I began to laugh. 

"You think that is funny?" Kai asked, and I nodded my head. Kai wiped the frosting onto his finger and wiped it off on my nose. Kai began laughing. 

"They are so childish." D.O chuckled. 

It was time for Kai to open the present. I handed him my present first. 

"This is for you." I said. Kai opened his present, and I got him a Gucci jumpsuit. I wasn't sure if Kai was going to like it or not. A smile appeared on Kai's face, and he lunged himself towards me and kissed me on the cheek. His action made my heart fluttered. 

"I love it. Thank you." He smiled once again. When I am with Kai, I feel a different type of happiness.
