*Jens pov*
I wake up the next morning with a small headache. I look over and see Leah sitting up looking out the window. "Good morning." I say and poke her shoulder. She just shakes her head. "What's wrong?" I ask. "I can't believe we did that last night.." She says and looks down. "What? Drank?" I ask confused. "No! When we kissed." She says with attitude and looks at me. Then I remember that we did kiss.
I just look at her for a second. Damn, I hope I didn't like mess with her head. I'm the one who kissed her, but it wasn't for a reason, I was just drunk.....right?
"Hey, it's ok, we were just having fun.." I say trying to comfort her, but she just looks away. "It didn't mean anything..." I say. "Leah, we were drunk, literally all girls do that type of stuff with eachother, even when they're sober.." I say and sit up. She looks at me and sighs. "You're right...I'm just overthinking." She shakes her head.
"Yeah don't be upset, it's ok, it's not like you cheated on Angelo, I mean we didn't fuck." I giggle, that makes her smile a little. "Ok." She nods. "Want me to make some breakfast?" I ask and rub her back. I just want to make sure she's still ok, I don't want it to worry her. "Yeah.." She says softly. "Ok, let's go." I smile and get out of bed. We head downstairs and go in the kitchen.
"Sorry for freaking out, I just haven't really had any friends like you ever since Sofia." She says and sits on a stool. "Friends like me? What do you mean?" I ask and get out pancake mix. "All my friends after Sofia were all just boring stay-at-home moms. But you're fun, and goofy, you're like the friend every girl wants." She tilts her head.
"Awe, thankyou. And I get I can be a little much, I don't try, it just happens, I can tone down if it would make you feel better..." I suggest. "Oh-I- no, no, it's not that I don't like it, I'm just not used to it, like I said you're the friend everyone wants, I like the way you are, I'll get used to it, trust me." She laughs.
"Okay, but please tell me if I'm ever too much, I love to be fun, but I don't wanna annoy you..." I assure her. "Ok I will." She giggles.

*Leahs pov*When Jennifer kissed me, I didn't really get upset until the next morning. It wasn't weird in the moment, but it hit me later, probably because I wasn't thinking straight, niether of us were, we were drunk.
I'm back home now, I left after breakfast at Jen's. Now I'm sitting on the couch with Sofia watching Clueless. "What did you do at your friends house?" Sofia asks and looks at me. "Jennifer? Well we swam in her pool, and got our nails done." I say. "Lucky." She sighs. "Didn't you have fun with daddy and Trish?" I ask and stroke her hair. "Eh, I would've rather been with you and Jennifer." She says.
"I'm sorry my love, maybe next time." I smile. "When can I see Emme again?" She asks. "I don't know, you have school tomorrow and all week, maybe I could ask Jen about this weekend. But we're not gonna be able to see them every weekend you know?" I tilt my head. "Yeah I know..." She says and looks away.
"So what did you do while I was gone?" I ask. "Well, I listened to Trishy's story's about her dead-beat ex's, and daddy would not stop singing.." She rolls her eyes and I laugh. "Well that sounds like them alright." I giggle and shake my head.

"Hello?" I answer. "Hi!" Jen says through the phone. "How are you?" She asks. "I'm good, just finishing up some paperwork." I say. "For your work?" She asks. "Yeah.." I say with an obvious tone. "Oh that's great!" She says happily. "It is?" I ask confused. "Mhm, but, speaking of work....guess what!" She says. "What?" I ask.
"Well...my building just hired a ton of new employees, so they're planning on moving some of the current workers out of the building to different ones, and one of the options is your building....so I'm gonna be working in your building now!" She says quickly. "Wow...uh..that's good! I'm kind of star struck..." I say. "I know, isn't it great!?" She says happily. "Yeah! I mean it's definitely unexpected." I giggle. "Well I'm excited to see you at work tomorrow!" She says.
