Our Little Secret

*Jens pov*

I've been at my new work for about a week now, and I'm really getting the hang of this new place. I'm even making some new friends, I mean not really "friends", but like new people that I like. Leah is definitely still my number one though.

I just arrived at work and I'm walking down the hall to my office, but of course I stop and knock on Leahs door before I open it. I peak my head in and smile at her. "Good morning." I say. "Morning." She smiles. Then I walk in and hand her a coffee real quick then kiss her on the cheek, then I start to walk out. "Thankyou?" She giggles. "You're welcome mama." I say and smile before walking out.

Then I head down to my office. Me and Leah set my office up pretty nicely, it's really cute, we're both kind of extra, so we made my office all aesthetic and shit. That day when she was helping me with my office, I kind of...teased her...I don't really know if I'd call it that. But I was definitely being kind of flirtatious. But it's not a big deal, I know she's growing on me, and she doesn't mind. I mean...I'm married! It's not like I'm tryna get in her pants...

Anywho...I get to my office and work on some graphs I need to update, and then someone knocks on the door. I smile to myself expecting it to be Leah. "Come in." I say without looking up. I hear the door open, then I look up, it's actually my new boss, Mr.Smith. "Oh..hi Mr.Smith." I say and smile. "Hey Jennifer! I just wanted to check up on you and just see how you're doing." He says and walks over to me.

"Oh I'm great actually. Just adding to these graphs, some sales are really going up this year." I say and point at my computer so he can see. "I'm glad you're doing good! I knew you'd be fine, but before you leave today could you stop by my office? I just have some papers I'd like to give you." He says. "Sure, that's fine." I nod. "Ok great. Well I'll leave you to it." He smiles and starts walking out the door. He leaves and I get back to work.

Hours goes by, and it's finally 5 o'clock. I work 9 to 5, so it's time for me to leave. I gather my stuff then walk out of my office. I walk down to Leahs office and open the door. She's squatted down on the floor facing the other way and picking up papers, she doesn't realize I walked in. But I walk over to her and she looks up and kind of gasps. "Shit!! You scared me." She says and puts her hand to her chest. "Sorry." I giggle.

"Do you need some help?" I ask as she continues picking up the papers, there's kind of a lot on the floor. "No I'm ok. I just knocked some paper off my desk on accident." She says. But I squat down and start helping anyways. "It's fine really Jen." She stops and looks at me. "Jeez, I'm not that much of a bitch, just let me help." I giggle and keep picking them up, she smiles and then continues. We get them all up pretty fast. Then we both stand up.

"Thanks." She says and takes the paper out of my hands and puts them back on her desk. "Of course." I smile. "Do you wanna go and eat somewhere? Alex is at his moms house with the kids, and I don't feel like cooking, but I get it if you wanna be with Angelo and Sofia." I say. "Oh sure, Sofia is at a friends house anyways, I'll just bring something home to Angelo. Where do you wanna go?" She asks and grabs her stuff.

"Hmm, Chick-Fil-A?" I ask. "Mmm yesss, good idea." She says as we walk out of her office. We start walking down the hall, then I stop. "Oh shit, I was supposed to stop by Mr.Smiths office before I left." I sigh. "Well c'mon, I'll wait outside his office while you talk to him." She says. "Okay thanks." I say as we turn around and walk to his office.

"I'll be right out." I say before walking into his office. "Ok." She nods. Then I knock on his door. "Come in." He says. I open the door and walk in. "You wanted to see me?" I say and close the door. "Oh yes. Have a seat." I walk and sit beside him on the little couch he has in his office. "I just wanted to explain these papers I want you to do tonight so you're not confused, and if you can't get them finished it's totally fine." He smiles. "Ok Thankyou." I say.

Then he explains the papers for like 3 minutes. "That's it?" I ask surprised since it's easy. "Yup." He smiles. "Ok great." I say and start to stand up but he stops me. "Wait." He says. "Yes?" I ask and fully sit back down. "If there's anything you need, just let me know....and if you're ever...looking for a promotion...." He says and places his hand on my thigh. "You know where to find me...." He says softly and moves his hand higher to my inner thigh. My skirt is pretty short so his hand is basically up my skirt. "Uhm...I should get going." I say and place my hand on his hand so he stops moving it higher. Then he squeezes my thigh a little to tease me. "You're very beautiful." He says and grins. "Thankyou Mr.Smith, but I really need to go." I giggle since I don't wanna make it awkward.

In reality I would punch him in his face, but this is my boss, and Alex would lose his shit if I lost my job, so I can't just go off on him.

"Alright." He says and takes back his hand. We both stand up and he walks me to the door, he has his hand on my back as we walk, and it slowly travels to my ass. I open the door and look at him. "Goodbye, thankyou again." I say and force a smile. "Anytime." He winks. I walk out and he closes the door. Leah is just leaning against the wall on her phone.

"You ready?" She asks and puts down her phone. "Yeah." I nod. We both walk out to the parking garage. "Ok I'll meet you there." Leah says before we separate to go to our cars. "Ok." I say. I go to my car and head to Chick-Fil-A. The whole car ride I was contemplating what just happened, I mean I always get hit on by men, but my boss? And that was technically sexual harassment.

I'm definitely not going to do what he was suggesting, I mean come on, he really was bribing me with a promotion for sex? I guess I'll just have to put up with him, I'd much rather tolerate him pinching my ass, other than me loosing my job.

I arrive, and I don't see Leahs car, so I guess she's not here yet. I go in and wait for her at a booth before I order. Eventually she walks in, and I stand up. "Hey." She smiles. "You weren't waiting too long right?" She asks as we walk over to the line to order. "Oh no, I just got here actually." I assure her. "Ok good she smiles. "So what did Mr.Smith need?" She asks and my heart kind of skips a beat.

"Oh, uh, just some paper work that he explained to me." I nod and look away. "Oh, gotcha." She says. We order then we go back to the booth. "So what are Emme and max doing at there grandparents house?" She asks. "Oh, they like to visit once a week, Alex is a mamas boy so he always wants to see his mom, and the kids love spending time with his side of the family." I explain. "Oh, what about your side of the family?" She asks as she eats.

"Oh it's the same with them too, my mom loves her grandbabys, but I guess I'm just not as close with them ever since my mom got married again, me and my stepdad don't get along, and they're always together. It's just hard sometimes." I look away. "Oh, I'm sorry.." She tilts her head. "Eh, it's fine, I just never liked him, even when I was a teenager and he would catch me sneaking out, don't even get me started." I giggle lightening the mood. "Oh god." She laughs.

We continue eating, but my mind keeps drifting to what happened earlier, I'm honestly afraid to go to work tomorrow, I know Mr.Smith isn't gonna like rape me, but I just hope it doesn't effect my job, maybe he'll just be a little flirty at times, I hope that's all it is. I really don't wanna get caught up in drama.
