Our Little Secret

4-She's nice

*jens pov*

It's Friday, and me and Alex are supposed to be heading to Leahs house for dinner. I'm kind of anxious about the whole thing. But I'm not nervous, I'm never a nervous person in general, it's just not me.

I usually just go with the flow. I actually am glad that they invited us since I wanna get to know them, specifically Leah. I just feel like we have this woman type of connection, obviously I know other women, but she's just different. It's hard to explain, but I'm just glad that I know her, even though I don't really know her.

We're gonna be leaving to go soon, I'm wearing a black pencil skirt with a little slit in the front on the right, a little white button up sweater for the shirt, and cute light pink sandals that have a little bit of a heel. My hair is in a high ponytail with hoops, of course. And Alex is just wearing a nice shirt and jeans, it doesn't take much for him to dress up nice. My mom, Lupe, came over to my house to watch the kid's while we have dinner.

"C'mon Alex, I'm ready to go!" I yell from downstairs since he's taking forever. "Coming!" He yells, then soon after he comes down the steps. "Jesus, you take longer than me." I roll my eyes and open the front door. "I'm ready now, so don't complain." He says and walks out the door and to the car. "Bye mama! Te amo!"
I yell to my mom in the game room. "By baby!" She says. I walk out to the car, and we pull out of the driveway.

*Leahs pov*

Me and Angelo are finishing up the dinner, we just decided on spaghetti since it's simple. Now we're waiting for them to arrive. "You look gorgeous babydoll." Angelo says and kisses me. "Thanks, you look pretty too." I joke and he laughs. Im wearing a skin tight navy blue dress that stops a little above my knees, it shows some cleavage, but just the right amount, and black heels that strap and buckle around my ankle. I usually leave my hair down and curled, so I did that.

Sofia is at my moms house for the weekend, so she's not here. Which is good since she'd probably be bored.

I set the table while Angelo finishes up. Then I hear the doorbell. "I got it." I say to Angelo as he keeps cooking. I walk to the door and look in the mirror beside the door real quick to make sure I look okay. Then I open the door. "Hi!" I say to both of them and step out of the way so they can come in. "Come in!" I say. "Thankyou for inviting us." Jennifer smiles. "Of course!" Angelo yells from the kitchen, they laugh.

Alex walks straight over to Angelo and they chit chat. And right when I close the door Jennifer gives me a little hug, which was nice. "Wow you smell really good." She laughs. "Thankyou." I giggle. "Angelo is still working on the food, so we can sit at the couch if you'd like?" I suggest. "Oh sure." She says and we both walk over there and sit down beside eachother, not too close, but then she scooches a little closer to me, but I act like I don't realize. "What's for dinner, it smells good." She asks looking behind the couch at the kitchen. "Just pasta, nothing special." I shrug. "Well that sounds perfect to me, I'm kind of a picky eater anyways." She giggles and I smile.

"You look nice." She says and plays with the trim of my dress. "Oh Thankyou. You do too!" I say "Thanks." She smiles. "You're house is really nice too, it's interior is really cute and comfortable." She says looking around. "It's not all that, but thankyou, I appreciate it." I laugh. She laughs too and glances down my body.

"What?" I ask confused. "Oh-nothing! You just have a really good body type, I never realized, but that dress does you good." She winks. "Pfft, yeah right, I need to go to the gym." I shake my head.

"Mmm...I don't think so.." she says and looks at my body again. "Stooop." I giggle. "I can't help it!" She laughs. "Have you seen your body?! I wish I had your figure." I roll my eyes and look at her. "Thankyou." She laughs. "Anytime." I joke and she laughs. "Food is served lady's!" Angelo calls out. "Ugh, I'm starving!" She says and stands up quickly and I get a full view of her ass. Wow, this is surprisingly my first time starring at it, since I don't typically stare at girls butts, but, damn, her ass is perfect. Wow.

I stand up and follow behind her, we sit at the table and I think Alex wanted to sit beside her, but she sits beside me instead. Angelo brings over the food and puts some on all of our plates. Then he sits across from me and Alex is across from Jennifer.

The night goes on and we're just having normal adult conversations, pretty boring. "So is Sofia here?" Jennifer asks since we were talking about kids. "Oh no, she's with her grandma this weekend." I answer and sip my whine. "Awe, I wanted to meet her. But maybe another time." She shrugs. "Yeah, definitely another time." I nod.

"So do you two like it here so far?" Alex asks and puts his drink down. "Oh yeah." I say. "It's really nice." Angelo nods. "Yeah, well watch out for some of these people. There's definitely some fake people around here." He shakes his head. "Alex." Jennifer says sternly and shakes her head no. "What?? Me and Jen are the best people around here. No doubt!" He says and we all laugh.

"Thanks..again, for letting us come, I'm glad that we all get along." Jennifer says mainly facing Angelo, but she places her hand on my thigh. Oop...I don't know what happened but it sent chills up my body. I acted like I didn't even realize though.

"Of course, I can see us being good friends." Angelo nods. Jennifer smiles at him. Her hand is still there, she starts to slowly rub her thumb on my skin. "That was really good." Alex says and takes his last bite. "We definitely need to come here more often, especially since someone doesn't know how to cook." He jokes and looks at Jennifer. "Uh. I know you're not talkin about me Alex." She laughs and points at him. Her attitude is really cute. "I'm sure she's not that bad." I laugh and defend her. "Pffft, you come over for dinner and see!" He jokes and we all laugh. "Alex don't even get me started with you." She rolls her eyes and smiles and we laugh.

"Thankyou for coming." I say to Jennifer. "Thankyou for having us." She says and smiles. We're talking inside while the guys are outback doing whatever. "We should go out sometime, like a girls day or something. There's not that many girls I get along with around here, but since you're here, maybe we could be friends." She says and looks at me. Ok that is really cute, I mean she just wants to be friends, but it makes me feel special. "I'd love that." I smile. "Here, what's your number?" She asks and pulls out her phone. She hands it to me and I type it in.

"Thanks." She says. "No problem." I smile. "Alex! You ready papi?" She calls out. "Yeah!" He says and walks in from the back door with Angelo behind him. "All right see you later man." He says and shakes Angelo's hand. "Yeah." Angelo nods. "Thanks Leah." He says and gives me a side hug. "You're welcome." I say. Then he starts to walk out to the car, and he holds Jennifer's hand so she's walking behind him. Jennifer starts to follow him then she turns around. "I'll text you." She mouths to me and smiles. I nod and smile back.

"That was fun." I say to Angelo as we walk upstairs. "Yeah it went well." He agrees. "You and Jennifer seem to really get along." He says. "Yeah..she's nice." I smile to myself.
