*Leahs pov*
"Leahhh, please my love, if you get that miserable then we can leave, but we have to stay for at least an hour." My husband Angelo says to me and crosses his arms.
"No! You know I'm not a party person." That's a lie, and he knows it is. I am a party person, but a club party person. I don't wanna go to some house party with people from my neighborhood.
"That's a lie." He furrows his brows. "We're new to the neighborhood, don't you wanna get to know some of our nieghboors??" He asks. "Uh. No. Not really." I reply with attitude, he sighs.
"Do we even know the hosts?" I ask. "I told you I met this guy, Alex, when I was mowing the lawn out front, he was driving by and he sa-" I cut him off. "Ok, ok, I'll go, jeez." I roll my eyes.
"Thankyou! I love you!" He says with excitement and kisses me multiple times making me laugh. "I promise I'll make it up to you after..." He winks. "You are not getting laid." I raise my brows. "Whatever. Go get ready, it starts at 9. It's already 8:15." He yells going up the stairs.
"Ugh. Fine!" I yell back. I know we're new to the neighborhood and all, but that doesn't mean we have to know everyone. That's how it was in Brooklyn, we didn't know any of our neighbors, which I was fine with. But of course, we had to move since my job offered me a promotion for this bigger company that runs the company I was working at. They offered me way more money, so obviously I took it. Me and Angelo were ok with moving, but it's been hard on my daughter, Sofia, all her friends were in Brooklyn, now we live in Midtown Manhattan. And she has to switch schools, so that's gonna be hard as well, I mean she's only 7, but she's at that age we're she starts making best friends and shit.
I go upstairs to my room and try to find something to wear. It is a party, and we're in a much nicer part of New York now, so I'm gonna dress pretty nice, not too fancy though. I hear the shower turn on, so I'm guessing Angelo is about to shower, that's fine though since I showered this morning.
"Angelo, I'm coming in to do my makeup." I knock on the bathroom door. He doesn't respond, I still go in though. I do my makeup and all that shit, I go for an extra, but natural makeup look, only nude colors. Then I curl my hair, I'm just gonna leave it down. "Angelo does my makeup look okay?" I ask then he peaks his head out of the shower.
"Beautiful." He says. "Ok good." I walk out and go into the closet. "Hmmm." I hum. I guess I should make a good impression, even though I really don't give two fucks about this. Ok so I decide to wear this really tight white tank top that makes my boobs look great, but it's not too much cleavage. Then light blue high waisted skinny jeans with a black Chanel belt, a really cute grey cardigan since it's sorta cold, and it just completes the outfit.
"Babe. Booties or heels?" I ask as he walks out of the bathroom. "What the hell are "booties"? He raises his brows. "Ugh, forget it, I'll wear heels." I slip on a pair of black heels that lace up my ankle a little bit. Then I look in the mirror and check myself out, my boobs look great, sorry I can't get over that. And of course I checked out my ass.
"Damn I need to go to the gym.." I say to myself, but Angelo hears and comes in the closet grabbing a button up shirt. "No you don't, you look great." He says and slaps my ass. "You're my husband, it's your job to say that no matter what." I roll my eyes and he laughs.

"Angelo! I'm telling you, this has to be the house!" I yell pointing at this normal house with a couple of cars outside. "Baby, no the address is 3234, that's 3233." He says calmly. "It's this one here." He points at this huge modern house that is so beautiful. "There is no way that fucking mansion is there house." I shake my head as he pulls in the driveway. "Leah...he was driving a Range Rover." He says and turns off the car. "Whatever, it doesn't even look like it's a party, where are the guests, there's only like 2 cars." I say.
