Chapter 7: Hopeless

*Hayes' Pov*

What just happened? The most popular girl in school just broke up with me. Did she find out I made up with Sofia? I walked home in tears. Good thing Sofia wasn't there to see me like this. WAIT. I have a chance to be with Sofia now! I decided to text her.

Hayes: Hey 🙍
Sofia: Hey 🙋
Hayes: I was wondering if you wanted to hangout at my place? 🙎
Sofia: Sure! Meet yah there! 🙆
Hayes: Lol we keep using those emojis 😂
Sofia: Yep 💁

By the time I got home, I heard the door bell. Sofia's here! I opened the door and saw Elizabeth. "Heyyyy." She said awkwardly. I didn't respond. "Can we talk?" She asks. "Not if you wanna get back together with me..." I said getting upset because I wanted Sofia in my arms. "Would it make you happy if I told you me and Shawn weren't a thing anymore?" She said as she put her arms around my neck. "What?" I said in confusion. "I didn't feel right being without you. I love you and only you." She said she whispered it into my ear. "Elizab-" I said while we were interrupted by a knock on the door. Way to ruin the momen- It was Sofia. "Hey!" She said and smiled, but then she saw Elizabeth with me. Her smile faded. "Sorry." She said as she walked down my steps back to her house. I watched her leave. WHY DIDNT I DO ANYTHING?!? Oh right, Elizabeth was there and I didnt know what to do.

*Sofia's Pov*

Hayes invited me over. I went over but I saw Elizabeth with him. Was this why he invited me over? Was Elizabeth lying to me about breaking up with Hayes? Ugh. I was just in mood for a nap until I got a text from Anna.

Anna: I HAVE A PLAN FOR MICHELE AND KIAN
Sofia: Awe 💘 But I don't wanna be anywhere near Kian 😒

I then told Ann about what happened after school today.

Anna: Wow. Elizabeth has to ruin all your chances doesn't she? 😒
Sofia: And just when I was falling for Hayes again 💔
Anna: It's gonna be fine 👼
Sofia: So whats the plan for Michele and Kian? 😱
Anna: You're gonna text Michele you meet you at "Dumpling Wings"
Sofia: What the heck is that 😐😂
Anna: A Chinese restaurant stoopid 😑

Sofia: YESSS best plan ever 🙌
Anna: This is gonna happen tonight so go text Michele. SEE YAH AT THE RESTAURANT

I texted Michele

Sofia: Hey Michele!
Michele: Hellur 👐
Sofia: Meet me at "Dumplings Wings" tonight. We're having a girls night with Anna so dress pretty. Like a dress and some makeup ✊💁
Michele: Okay! 😱

I got another text but from "Unknown"

Unknown: Meet me at the park. Down the street from your house.

I was officially creeped out. Who was this person? I still went though.
