Chapter 27: Ruins

*Sofia's Pov*

Aaliyah and I walked to my place (The Grier's House) and we became really good friends. We were watching The Conjuring. Aaliyah's phone went off during the movie. It was Iris. She picked up.

*Aaliyah's Pov*

I answered the phone call from Iris. I put it on speaker.

"Hello?" I ask.

"Ugh Aaliyah! You can't even come to the mall for a meeting?!" Iris yells.

"I couldn't make it." I say.

"Where are you?!" She says.

I didn't know what to say.

"I'm at expressions." I say trying not to laugh.

"So you wanna buy shoes rather than be with us?! That's it! I'm kicking you out of our group. You can't live with us anymore. I'll be posting your singing video on twitter. Have fun!" She says while hanging up the phone.

I wanted to cry. "I have nowhere to live. She'll ruin my reputation." I cried out.

"I used to live across the street until my parents moved, but my sister lives there now. You can live there. Do you have any stuff at Iris' house that you need to get?" Sofia asks me.

"She probably threw it out." I say.

"Great, we can go shopping this weekend then. I would live with you guys, but - " Sofia says but I interrupt her because I know what she was gonna say.

"Yeah, Yeah we know. Hayes." I laugh out.

"Yup." She says.

"Thanks, Sofia. Like soooo much." I say.

*Sofia's Pov*

I walk Aaliyah to her new home. I felt bad for her. Like really bad. She was practically forced to live here and then kicked out of what she called home.

On my way back home I see Hayes.

I run and hug him.

"I missed you." I whisper in his ear.

"I missed yo-" He fell to the ground.

"Hayes? Hayes! Hayes whats the matter?!" I yell.

"Elizabeth! Please help!!" I yell loud enough hoping she will hear.
