Chapter 15: Be Warned

*December 20*

*Sofia's Pov*

So remember the trip to Miami Elizabeth Grier told us about? She had to reschedule because of Michele's accident, so today is the last day of school before Christmas break.

I already packed my stuff. The Grier's and my family would be leaving tomorrow to go to Miami. So excited! I get to spend time with my Hayes.

I got ready for school. Took a quick shower then left my hair in it's curls. I put on a pink sweater with my pinks vans. I also wore my black leggings. My backpack was ready to go downstairs. I had an apple for breakfast then headed out. "Bye mom!" I yelled as I shut the door. I took my phone and texted Hayes.

Sofia: Hey 🙈 Wanna walk together to school today?

I waited fora bit. No response. I sighed. Hayes then came out of nowhere and scared me. "AHHHH." I said screaming then accidentally dropped my phone. "Thanks Hayes." I said looking at how it cracked. (sarcasm) "No problem!" He said laughing. "Excited for tomorrow?!" He said. "Yessss!" I said in excitement. We started talking about what we were going to do as soon as we get to Miami. We made it school.

Hayes met up with his football friends. Kian transferred schools because he didn't want anything to do with us
now. I met up with Anna and Michele at the lockers. "Where's Matthew?" I asked. "Sick." She said. "With what?" I said. "Ebola." She said as she laughed. "Wow okay." I said. "Guys!" Michele yells. "There's gonna be 4 transfer students coming to the school after break. 4 IS ALOT FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS!" She added. "Looks like we'll be making some more friends." I said.

*first period bell rang*

I walked to class with Anna and Michele. Elizabeth sits next to me. We've gotten really close the past couple weeks. "Did you hear about the transfers?" She asks me. "Yeah. Why is everyone talking about it?" I ask. "Are you serious?!" She says. My face goes blank. "Is there something I should know about them?" I asked. "YEAH!" She yelled. "What?" I said. "Well one of them dated Hayes and she plans on him getting him." She said showing me her phone. She shows me this girls last tweet.

"The other 3 people that are transferring are part of her 'group'" Elizabeth adds.

I look at the profile picture of this girl. Iris Grace is her name. She's a blonde. With green/blue eyes.

"I'm dead. I'll have to talk to Hayes about her." I said.

"Sofia, I told him that Iris is coming here. His face lit up like a birthday candle." She said sounding sad.

"Why'd they break up anyway?" I ask.

"Iris had to move. They kept a long distance relationship until they confirmed that they should other people. I don't know if Hayes likes Iris still, but trust me. She's not the one to mess with. We were best friends until she stole my first crush in 5th grade. When she comes, be careful. Her group is dangerous too." She said. "One more thing. Iris and Hayes were -" She got cut off by Mr. Rivera. "Hush Sofia and Elizabeth!" He yelled.
