Chapter 11: Wakening

*Hayes' Pov*
Anna and Sofia haven't been doing anything since Michele's accident. They feel terrible because they thought it was there fault. They haven't been coming to school for about 2 weeks.

Matthew and I have been hanging out a lot lately. Kian hasn't been coming to school either. He's been in the hospital with Michele. Things were gloomy.

It was 6:00pm. Thursday Night. I decided to go to Sofia's since I haven't seen her in so long. I've tried going to her house, but she shutting everyone out. I put on cargo shorts. A red hoodie with a football on it and my red vans. I crossed the street and knocked on the door. Sofia's mom opened the door. "Hello, Mrs. Salazar." I said in a 'good' manner. "Why hello, Hayes." She said. "Come on in." She added. I went upstairs and knocked on Sofia's door. No answer. I just opened the door. Sofia was looking out her window with red puffy eyes. She looked at me and looked back at the window. "hey.." She said seeming tired. "Hey there." I said. She ran to me and hugged me. I hugged her back and kissed the top of her head. "It's not your fault." I whispered into her ears. "Hey, how about we watch something on Netflix?" I said. She crawled in her bed. I turned on the TV. I sat next to her as we watched The Blind Side. The car accident scene happens and she starts sobbing again.
She eventually fell asleep on my shoulder and it was closest we've ever been since the summer before 7th grade.

*Sofia's Pov*
I woke up to my alarm because I planned on going to school today. There was someone next to me. I screamed then stopped because it was just Hayes. "WOAH!" He said jumping up from his sleep. "I'll let you get ready." He said walking out looking half asleep. The last time I went to school was when Elizabeth broke up with Hayes. Woah. That was the second day of school! A lot happened on that day. A lot.

*Flash back text over*

Today I was gonna wear my grey joggers with my black and white nike roshe runs. I had my hair up in a simple pony tail and I wore a black hoodie with a white smiley face in the middle.

My mom drove me and Hayes to school. When we go there, we held hands and walked into the school. People's mouths dropped. It was funny. Elizabeth was with Shawn and she saw us. She smiled at me. I guess we were friends again. I finally found where I belong. With Hayes.

*Michele's Pov*

My eyes opened. I couldn't move. I couldn't talk either. I'm covered in casts and I see someone sitting in a chair across me. He see's me. "MICHELE!" He yells out. "Who's Michele and who are you?" I say.
