Helloooo!

I hope you are all staying safe and healthy! It's been over a month since I have stepped outside my house. What about you guys? Also, what's the first thing you are going to do when you're out of quarantine? (Or are you already out of quarantine?) Anyways, sorry for this long intro! I hope you like this chapter. As always, let me know by commenting or voting if you liked ( or disliked) this chapter!

Thank you!

Also, if your reading this any year after 2020, the comment above will not make any sense. So, I can't wait for that haha!

I heard a knock at the door and walked over, How did Nick get here so fast? As I opened the door, I was greeted with the unfortunate event that it was in fact Sheri.

"Sheri?" I frowned.

"Hey, girl," She smiled weakly as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, "Can I talk to you?"

I blinked a few times, confused as to why she just randomly decided to appear at my doorstep after months of having no communication, "Sure, uh- come in."

She picked at her lip with her manicured nails, the way she did when she was nervous,  and she smiled weakly at me, "I'm super sorry for what I did. I- I lost my two best friends when I did that."

I nodded slowly, "Are you sorry that you lost your two best friends? Or sorry that you hurt me?" I asked.

"For both. My life has completely done a 180 and I really do miss you two. I was wondering if we could all go for a movie night or the bar or something." She offered.

I bit the inside of my lip and ran my hands through my hair, "Look, Sheri, I forgive you. But, I just can't see us being friends anymore. I'll talk to Nick, I'll try to see if you two can still be friends."

She shook her head, "I can't just be friends with him."

"I'm sorry. But it's like you never felt bad for what you did. You knew what you did was wrong but you never checked up on me." I said quietly.

"I didn't know you were in the hospital until afterwards." She sighed as she looked up at me.

My eyes widened, how did she know about that? "Who told you?" I asked stupidly.

"Nick did," she mumbled, "Look, I'm really sorry. I want us to go back the way we were."

"When did you talk to Nick?" I asked, I didn't mind that he was talking to her, what I did mind is that he didn't tell me and that he had told her I was in the hospital after I told him not to say anything.

"No, that was the last time we talked. He blamed me for you going into the hospital." She frowned.

I raised an eyebrow but my chest tightened, "If you hadn't given me the GHB, I would have not gone into anaphylactic shock."

"Please? I've already said I'm sorry." She pleaded.

I bit the inside of my lip and remained quiet for a moment. She was not taking no for an answer. I glanced over to her and she pouted her lip and attempted to give me the puppy face.

"I-," I didn't know what to say. I did not want a friendship with her but I didn't want to seem rude, "Sheri." I sighed as I ran my hand through my hair.

I jumped at the sound of someone at the door Please be Nick.

"Is it Jackson?" Sheri asked as I approached the door.
