"Love, I miss you." I softly caressed his engraved name.
Hinayaan kong tumama ang malamig na simoy ng hangin sa aking balat habang nakaupo ako sa harap ng puntod niya. 3 years have passed, but I am still haunted by memories of us. My heard my phone rang from inside my car. Madali ko itong kinuha at sinagot ang tawag.
"Hi ma'am, good morning!" The person from the other line exclaimed. I giggled when I heard her very energetic voice. Ang aga-aga pero ang hyper na agad ng sekretarya ko.
"Yes, Shar. Good morning din naman. Anything urgent?" I leaned on to my car. I can't see my driver. Maybe he went to the restroom.
"Ay, wala naman po ma'am. Napatawag lang po ako kasi anong oras na wala pa rin po kayo." I heard her tapping the table already, so impatient.
"I'm on my way, Shar. I just--" I smiled softly while looking at his grave from afar. "Dumaan lang ako somewhere."
"Gan'on po ba, Ma'am? Sige po! Ingat po kayo sa byahe." Sakto namang dumating ang driver ko pagkababa ng tawag. "Kuya Mike, sa coffee shop na po." I smiled at him before entering the car.
It was a 30-minute drive going to to the coffee shop. Pagdating sa parking ay dali-dali na akong bumaba dahil malapit na ako ma-late. I know that I own this business but still, it's not okay to be late.
"Thank you, Kuya. I'll just text you later po kasi may lakad kami nila Tiffany." Pahabol kong sabi bago tuluyang pumasok sa loob.
"Sige po ma'am. Mauna na rin po ako." He said politely and drove away after. May lakad din kasi si Mama ngayon.
Napangiti ako nang makitang marami ang mga customers ngayon. I greeted some of my employees who were serving before climbing the stairs. Hindi pa man ako tuluyang nakakaakyat ay narinig ko na agad ang boses ni Shar. Nakikipagtalo na naman ito. Napailing na lang ako dahil araw-araw naman kaming ganito.
"Nag-aaway na naman kayong dalawa? Aga-aga." I chuckled when they both turned to me. Hindi naman nakaligtas sa akin ang matalim na tingin ni Sharlene dito.
