Chapter 3

Di pa 'rin ako mapakali sa nakita ko. It's like fate was playing with me because our paths keeps on crossing. Ang tagal-tagal ko nang nakaupo sa kama ko pero iniisip ko pa rin siya. To suffice my internal thirst to know him more, I took my cellphone and searched his name on Instagram.

"I guess Ate Janna is right. He's famous." I whispered while scrolling through the profiles na lumabas. Ang dami namang poser nito! 

I clicked the 1st account and was lucky enough to find the real one. Ito naman siguro 'yon? This account has almost 15 thousand followers. The fuck? Is he an artist or something?

I saw a picture of him together with a group. The boys were wearing loose black, dress shirts paired with black joggers na may red-lining sa both sides. Oh, so dancer din siya. I also saw pictures of him that I think were from swimming competitions. Sabi nga ni Ate Janna kanina he's a swimmer. Napaismid naman ako. Sana all talented.

I was about to press exit when my brother smashed my door open and jumped in my bed at the space beside me. I held my phone tightly. Hinampas ko naman siya pagkatapos.

"Ano bang problema mo, ha?!" I held my chest still shocked at what he did. 

"Tatanong ko lang sana sa'yo. Anong magandang i-regalo sa babae, kapatid?" He asked me before hugging one of my pillows.

"Are you serious? You really want me to suggest?" I smiled when I remembered something.

"Ah, oo nga pala. Nagpabili ka sa 'kin ng aso. Tapos n'ung binigay ko kay Cheska gumastos pa ako ng pang-anti rabies nung nakagat siya." Sinamaan niya ako ng tingin.

Napatawa naman ako ng mahina. That was just right for that girl dahil sobrang arte niya. She stepped on the poor dog's tail which is why it bit her. Kaya ang nangyari, napunta sa'kin 'yung aso. Now it's mine! Nakalibre pa ako ng tuta.

"Hey, It's not my fault! 'Yan kasi, Kuya Dwayne kung mamimili ka ng babae, 'yung matino naman." I rolled my eyes.

He stood up and pointed at me. Tinabig ko naman agad 'yung daliri niya.

"Makapagsalita ka naman. Kala mo matitinong lalaki mga pinipili mo." He laughed evilly before stepping out of my bedroom.

Hinayupak na 'yon, pinaalala pa ulit. I took a glance of my cellphone. Bigla namang nanlaki ang mga mata ko. I accidentally liked one of his posts. Maybe napindot ko 'yung react when I held my phone tightly. Nagkataon pa na it was a photo of him lying on the sand, topless and wearing a floral beach short. Nataranta naman ako at pinilit bawiin 'yung pagkaka-heart ko sa post niya.

"Hindi niya pa naman siguro nakita 'yon, 'no?" I tried to console myself.

I went down to eat dinner with my family. Binalita ko naman kay mama at kay daddy na tatakbo akong Senator for the Student Council. They were very supportive and even asked me if I needed help for the campaign materials. Nawawala na naman 'yung magaling kong kuya. They told me that he went out to buy some supplies for his project. Napaismid naman ako. I'm sure he's just going to meet with this girl that he was talking about earlier.
