Chapter 21

"Ako na magda-drive." I tried to reach for his key fob but he raised his hand. He was taller than me so I can't take it from him. I crossed my arms.

"Bakit ba gusto mong ikaw ang mag-drive?" He said in an irritated tone.

"Bakit? Marunong ka pa ba mag-drive? Baka maaksidente lang tayo! Ilang taon ka ng hindi nagmamaneho!" I was so stressed out. "And you don't know the places that we will go to. So it would be better if I get to drive right?" I made a cute pleading face, hoping that it would work.

"You're already cute." He pinched my cheeks. "But no. Ako pa rin ang magdadrive."

Pinatunog niya ang sasakyan at pumasok sa loob. He rolled down the window when he noticed that I wasn't moving at all. I just remained standing on the sidewalk while eyeing him.

"Tara na dito. Mainit, Maggie. Pumasok ka na." He pushed the shotgun door open for me. He tapped the seat beside him. "Safe ka dito."

"May lisensya ka ba? 'Pag tayo nabangga o ano bahala ka. Tatakasan talaga kita." I was pouting when I entered the car.

"Daig mo pa LTO kung manita." He moved closer to me.

Napaatras naman ako ng kaunti ng maamoy siya. So he returned to using his old perfume. I felt him tightening my seat belt.

"Ako na." I tried to remove his hands but he already buckled me up. I was still scared. Baka mahuli kami kung wala siyang lisensya!

"Hindi ako aalis ng bahay kung wala akong dalamg lisensya, okay? Ayaw ko pang makulong." He said mockingly. "'Saka sa tingin mo makakarating ako dito sa shop ng buhay kung hindi ako marunong mag-drive? Wag ka na sumimangot."

"Siguraduhin mo lang na hindi ka papalya dito." I rolled my eyes.

"So saan tayo unang pupunta?" He asked the moment we settled inside the car.

Napaisip namna ako sa sinabi niya. If I would like him to remember, I should bring him to the places that were most memorable for us. I smiled when a place popped in my mind.

"Sa dati nating school." I said and took his phone.

I typed in the location so that he would know where to go. He started driving. I felt that he still knows how to drive so I let go of my inhibitions.

"Bakit nga pala tayo pupunta sa school?" He asked.

"Sa school kasi tayo nagkakilala. I want to bring you there."

"Hmm." He nodded. "Siguraduhin mong may maaalala ako d'on ah."

"Untog ko na lang kaya ulo mo? Baka kulang lang sa alog 'yung utak mo." I teased.

"Funny. Sadista ka pala." He sneered. Natawa na lang ako.
