EPILOGUE

"Sis. 'Wag ka na ma-sad." Aria said through video call.

"Nasaan ka na naman ba kasi. May balak ka pa ba manatili sa Pilipinas ng more than 1 week?"

"'Pag ikakasal ka na, Maggie. Kahit isang buwan pa ako tumulong sa preparations okay lang." She laughed. "Anyways. Nasa Santorini ako."

"Wow! Uwian mo naman ako ng blue na bahay." Rose said teasingly.

The three of us are currently out on a merienda date. While Aria is accompanying us through face time. Para kasing ewan, hindi mapakali sa Pilipinas. It seems like her feet would burn if it stays in the soils of the Philippines for a period of more than a week.

"Ikakasal si Maggie? Nako kailan kaya." Tiffany acted as if she's thinking. "Eh, 'yung gusto nitong groom hindi pa nagpaparamdam ulit sa kanya."

The three of them laughed at me. I rolled my eyes and dipped my churro in its bittersweet chocolate sauce.

"Really, Maggie? It's been how many days?" Aria looked confused. "He hasn't talked to you yet?"

"Aria bakit araw lang tanong mo? Alam niya kaya hanggang oras. Kahit nga minuto, eh." Rose playfully poked my waist. "Sige nga, Maggie. Gaano katagal ka na niya hindi kinakausap?"

I looked at my watch and sighed. "5 days, 20 hours, and..." I tried computing for the minutes. "47 minutes."

I looked at my phone that was placed upright at one side of the table. Aria seemed so shocked from listening to what I said. They can't blame me! I was lowkey expecting that he would talk to me. But he didn't. Maybe he picked Chloe. It pained my heart thinking that he chose her. Pero kasalanan ko naman. I pushed him to do it.

"Wow. I'm actually impressed." Sabi ni Aria nang makabawi na siya.

"'Di ba. Gusto ko na nga i-hire na timer 'to eh. Parang mas efficient pa siya kesa sa cellphone ko." Tiffany laughed horrendously. "Kunwari 'di siya umaasa. Arte arte pa siya na parang 'di siya affected. 'Wag ako 'oy." Pagpaparinig pa niya.

"Sisiraan kita sa lahat ng magiging kliyente mo." I tried to scare her.

"Bakit ka ba nagagalit? Eh si Rose 'yung sinasabihan ko." Nilingon niya si Rose na nabilaukan sa narinig. "Ano ba 'yan friend, umaasa ka pa rin kay Mr. Gray hanggang ngayon? 50 shades ka ba?"

Nagulat naman ako ng biglang salpakan ni Rose si Tiffany ng garlic bread. "'Yung bunganga mo papabendisyunan ko 'yan. 'Di ba sabi ko sa'yo don't say bad words?"

"Pota ka. Sabi kong busog na ako eh." Tiffany gave Rose a threatening glare.

"Pero 'di nga, Maggie? What are you feeling?" Aria caught our attention. The two immediately fell quiet and stared at me. Like they are really waiting for my answer. I sighed. I know I can't get away from them.
