Chapter 11

"Hi love." Ace planted a light kiss on the top of my head.

Napatingala naman ako sa kanya. He then gave me a quick kiss on the lips before sitting down in front of me. He took out his laptop from his bag and switched it on.

"Hi babe." I said after taking a sip of my coffee. "May clue ka na sa grades mo?"

"Wala pa nga, e. Ikaw?" he asked.

"Kanina pa ako nagbukas ng portal. Wala pa rin." I looked at him.

We were currently in a coffee shop. Napag-usapan kasi namin na sabay naming hihintayin 'yung release ng final grades namin for this year. Gumawa kasi kami ng deal na kung sino ang may mas mababang GWA, siya sasagot ng mga date namin for one month.

"Wait lang. I'll just order." he took his wallet and went to the counter.

While I was staring at his back, I remembered how fun the past year was for us. Tuwang-tuwa ang parents ko nang malaman na sinagot ko na si Ace. I already met his family and they were just as supportive. Our families spend time together occassionally. May mga nights na umiinom si Ace at ang papa niya sa bahay kasama si Daddy at si Kuya Dwayne. While my mama and me together with Tita Alicia, his mom, would go shopping on the weekends.

I have never been so happy and secured in a relationship. Knowing that both our families got our backs all the time, mas lalo akong nakakampante. Bumalik na si Ace sa table namin habang nakakunot ang noo.

"Don't smile at me like that." he said as he pushed a plate of blueberry cheesecake in front of me.

"Why?" I ate a small slice of the dessert.

"Tss. Kinikilig ako, e." he blushed.

"Sira." I rolled my eyes.

We closed our laptops first because the release of our grades is taking quite a long time. Nag-usap na lang muna kami of our plans this summer.

"Mag-out of the country ba kayo ngayon?" he asked.

"I don't think so. Masyadong busy si Daddy ngayon. Saka nag-out of the country na kami nung Christmas 'di ba?" I said.

"Sabagay. Busy din 'yung erpats ko." he paused for a while before looking at me. "Alam ko na!" he seemed so excited.

"Shh! Eskandaloso ka masyado." I glared. "Ano na naman alam mo? Dami mong alam."

"Syempre. Ako pa?" he pointed himself. "Baka nakakalimutan mong running for Dean's Lister na ako."

"Napakayabang mo." I sneered.

"Mahal mo naman." he teasingly said.

"Pasalamat ka." I murmured.

"Thank you. Ito na nga. Para ka namang ewan 'di mo ko pinatapos may sasabihin ako, e." he cleared his throat. "Punta tayong Baguio."
