Emre winced in excruciating pain as he tried to shift his body, feeling the agony coursing through his broken hand, fractured leg, and swollen face. Despite his desperate screams in the hospital, pleading, "I was kidnapped. They did this to me!" nobody seemed to believe his harrowing tale.

"Sorry, Mr. Emre, but you are likely fabricating this story. We found you heavily intoxicated, with alcohol in your system, and your car in a wrecked state," the doctors reproached him, casting suspicious glances that implied he may have lost his grip on reality due to his injuries.

When Aziz Divit arrived to see his son, accompanied by Jan, Emre beseeched in desperation, "Someone kidnapped me! Someone followed my car. Jan, ask Sanem, she was with me!"

"Why would Sanem be with you?" Jan questioned him skeptically, while Aziz appeared perplexed. Realizing the predicament he was about to create by revealing his folly, Emre hastily retracted, "No, no... I wasn't kidnapped. I simply lost my senses."

"You've truly lost it, involving my wife who is battling a severe fever and resting at home," Jan retorted venomously. "You should be mindful of the repercussions when you drag someone's name through the mud. That is not the conduct of a gentleman."

"Yes, yes... I apologize," Emre murmured weakly, retreating into his bed, aware of the mess he had nearly entangled himself in by mistakenly mentioning Sanem's name.

Aziz sighed, gazing at his son with a mix of disappointment and concern. "You must strive to recover swiftly. I cannot burden Jan alone, especially now that he has a family of his own. You must endeavor to prove your mettle."

"Yes, baba," Emre mumbled resentfully, shadowed by jealousy and self-pity.

Expecting Ayleen to visit him, Emre found himself disappointed when she never showed up. Upon his discharge, he headed straight to her abode, convinced she should have been worried about him. However, he was greeted not by her concern, but by a scene of revelry in her company with Fabbri, looking rather content together.

"Ayleen?" Emre called out. Her displeasure was evident as she ushered him into isolation. "Emre, you need to rest."

"You knew I was going"You knew I was going through a tough time yet you didn't bother to visit me once," Emre hissed at Aiyleen's face. Aiyleen rolled her eyes and replied with an air of sophistication, "I know you are a dimwit. Imagine if I had visited you, your father and your brother would have uncovered our relationship, and we would have ended up behind bars."

Emre licked his lips thoughtfully as he countered, "Okay, but what is Fabbri doing with you? I thought you told me you had no more relations with him."

Aiyleen responded incredulously, "Unbelievable, Emre! Yes, he is my ex-husband, but we share a professional bond. He is still my investor. If only you had been as successful as your brother, I would never have allowed Fabbri to stick around me."
