"I plan to kill you before the hand hits 12!"

---
Avdol stepped forward, unafraid of what the man could do to him.

"Your sword is terrifyingly fast, I must admit. It really is amazing, but do you think you can strike me down before the flames on that table hit 12?" Avdol crossed his arms, "You are being a tad bit conceited, don't you think?"

Polnareff grit his teeth together.

Avdol smirked lightly. He raised a finger and jerked it in the direction of the flame clock. The table burst into flames and and was crumbled.

"Monsieur Polnareff, do not assume that my flames travel upwards or downwind like flames do in nature. My stand's name is Magician's Red, because it can control flames freely," Avdol spoke.

Silver Chariot stabbed his sword into the ground.

"I would expect nothing less from Magician's Red, who controls the flames that suggest the beginning of all things. But.. you say I'm being conceited? You're saying that my swordsmanship is just mere conceit?!" Polnareff took the coins he had in his hand and threw them up in the air.

Silver Chariot shot his sword forward, flames still on his sword. When Chariot pulled back then coins and flames were lined up perfectly on his sword.

My eyes widened. His swordsman skills were impeccable.

"In the moment they lined up, he pierced five coins in a single strike!" Joseph cried.

"No," Jotaro said, "Look carefully old man."

I already knew what Jotaro was talking about.

"I see.." Avdol said, "There are flames between each coin."

Polnareff smirked, "I think you know what this means. It's not conceit, Muhammad Avdol. My stand has the power to sever even fire. It can slash the very air, and create gaps between nothingness and nothingness," he boasted.

"Are you sure that's not conceit?" I mumbled under my breath.

The Frenchman glared at me before continuing.

"Your Magician's Red is quite powerless before my Silver Chariot."

Silver Chariot slashed his sword, and the coins fell off the tip. The stand was sent away, and before we knew it, Polnareff was already at the exit to the restaurant.

"When did he.." Avdol breathed out.

Polnareff smirked, "The card that my stand has, The Chariot, suggests conquest and victory. I really don't mind taking care of you all in this cramped space, but Avdol, you'll be able to use your flames better in a more open space, no?"

I crossed my arms. At least he was giving Avdol a fair fight.

"It would only be fitting for my stand to defeat you under those circumstances. A fitting victory."

Aaaand back to the conceit.

Polnareff continued out the exit.

"All of you, outside!"

Polnareff led us to a strange, but beautiful looking place.

"W-Where are we?" Joseph asked.

"This is the Tiget Balm Garden," Kakyoin answered.

I gazed around noticing all of the beautiful colours and different designs. If only I could sketch this. Polnareff led the group of us up a flight of stairs that led to an open area.

"I will make a prediction here," Polnareff said, "First, Avdol, you will be destroyed by your own stand's powers."

Polnareff summoned Silver Chariot by his side.
