Laura's POV:

I sat on the swing in the town park, just sitting still letting the cool breeze blow through my hair. It was a beautiful spring evening. The sun was setting, and it glowed a majestic orange and yellow color. I loved being outside, especially during days off from filming, like today.

Don't get me wrong. Filming 'Austin & Ally' with my closest friends is amazing. It always is. I just really enjoy getting some fresh air, you know? Let all the troubles and worried go for awhile and just, breathe.

After a few more quiet moments of just sitting in piece, I start to hear small footsteps behind me. I brush it off at first, thinking it was just someone passing by. Then suddenly, I feel my swing start to lift up backwards. Only a little bit. I look down to see a pair of feet right under mine. The hands on the swing let go, and begin so push me lightly.

I turn my head around, and there behind me stood my co-star, and best friend of all time, Ross Lynch. He gave me a smile. I smiled back, realizing it was him. I turned back to face the park and pumped my legs along with the rhythm of my swing as Ross pushed me.

Soon, he was done pushing me, and took a seat in the swing beside me. I slid my foot into the wood chips bringing me to a halt. I turned to face Ross. He smiled again.

"Hey." he says warmly

"Hey." I reply.

"What have you been up to on your day off?" he asked. I shrugged.

"Just hanging around." I say. "Nothing much, really. You?" He shrugged also.

"Lying around at home. Decided to come for a walk. I kind of figured you be here, considering it's one of your favorite places." He turned to me and grinned. "So I thought I might see if you were here and hang with my best friend." he says with a wink

I giggled. He knows me all too well. We decided to walk around the park instead of just sitting around. I have been sitting for awhile, so I didn't mind the little bit of exercise. Ross wrapped his arm around my shoulder, pulling me against him as we walked. I wrapped my arm around his waist and rested my head by his shoulder.

"You hungry?" Ross asks as we come to the edge of the park. I look up at him, and slowly nod my head.

"A little bit." I admit.

"How about we go get some ice cream?" he insists. "On me, of course."

I smile and roll my eyes. He's always willing to pay for me. It's sweet, but at the same time it gets on my nerves. In a playful kinda way.

"I'm capable of paying for myself, you know." I say pulling him out of the park.

"Not today you aren't. C'mon Laur, my treat."

He started giving me his puppy dog eyes and pouty lip. I lightly hit his arm.

"You're such a five year old." I giggle.

"I'll take that as an okay!" He says.

I just laugh as he grabs my hand and walks is down to the corner of the street. We wait for the signal to turn green, letting us know we can go. Ross is on his phone texting, so I'm on the lookout.

The light finally turns green for us, and I signal Ross to follow. We start to walk across the wide road. That's when suddenly, I hear car breaks slamming down. I look up, to suddenly see a car speeding right at us. My eyes widen. My actions act before I can interpret them. I don't even think of my own safety. I sneak behind Ross and push him forward.

"Ross move!!" I yell.

He stumbled forward and fell to the ground, leaving me still in the open. I don't even have time to look and see if the car is still coming. It hits my side and I go flying across the hard, gravel road.
