Jayden walks over to Isaiah and sits beside him. "Hey!" Isaiah seems to be in a good mood.
He likes that Isaiah is a good mood. Isaiah has gone through literal hell this week. And he seems to be feeling better about all of this.
"Hey," Jayden smiles softly.
"Today has been weird. People keep saying sorry and giving me gifts," Isaiah rolls his dark brown eyes.
Jayden is barely able to look away from him. Isaiah may not realize, but he captivates Jayden. However, Isaiah starts to look at Jayden, so he forces himself to look away from him.
Jayden shrugs, "People are starting to feel bad, I guess."
Isaiah sighs, "It makes no sense, though. Even Daniel came up to me, begging for forgiveness, along with all of his other football player friends."
Jayden's fist clench at his side. He doesn't like Daniel. Not because of jealously or anything like that, he dislikes him because he's a jerk.
"Well, people are realizing that they bullied you while you were going through a lot at home. They feel bad now."
"I guess," Isaiah replies. He pulls his knees close to him and lays his cheek on his knees, looking at Jayden. Jayden can't help but think about how adorable Isaiah is.
Joanna finally comes over. "Sorry! People kept saying that they hope our family is doing well and stuff. Plus they handed me a bunch of cards or little gifts for you. People do feel bad, I guess," She hands over about 8 little gifts/cards for Isaiah. He accepts them and stuffs them into his backpack.
She notices Jayden, and smirks looking at them both, back and forth. Jayden has figured out that she probably knows about his feelings for her brother. He wonders how, but then again, he makes it slightly obvious.
"Well, we should get going. See you Monday!" Isaiah smiles and follows Joanna to their car. He waves at Jayden as he walks away.
'He's so sweet and adorable. I really hope that he feels the same way that I do,' Jayden thinks as he waves back. He stands up and thinks about how he's going to confess. 'Should I bring him a gift, like flowers or chocolate?' It hits him. 'I know! I should give him my blue hoodie. He seemed to like wearing it. I hope he doesn't think that's cheap. Maybe I should buy him chocolate to go along with it. Maybe a cute stuffed animal, too,' Jayden ponders about what to get him as he drives home to pick up the hoodie.

When he gets home, he sees his mom making a snack in the kitchen. "Hey, mom! Hold off on that snack! I actually will be out for a while."
"How long?" Carly responds, caught off guard by the rush in his voice.
"Don't know. Probably from an 1-2 hours," Jayden responds.
Despite Carly's confusion, she doesn't grill him on it.
Jayden runs into his room and grabs his hoodie tossed on his floor. He throws his backpack onto his bed and grabs his wallet. He jumps down the stairs and runs back outside.

He's paying for the things he chose for Isaiah, know. He chose a stuffed bear with a heart on it, reading I love you. Then, he chose a box of milk chocolates in a heart box. He's glad that the shelves are already full of Valentine's Day stuff. He also has a little gift bag and tissue paper.
