*I do mention two social medias in here! Most of you are familiar with them. If you aren't check them out, but be safe. They're both very good social medias!
Isaiah wakes up later than usual. His sister is at his side. "Oh! You're awake," She seems happy.
He checks the time, "Why aren't we at church?"
"Well, you were in such an awful state, so dad decided to put me in charge, and probably say that one of us is sick," Joanna explains.
Isaiah is still confused, "What all happened last night?"
Joanna frowns, "You went to hang out with Jayden, and were gone till 9. Mom and I found you at some party, smoking and drinking. Dad caught us sneaking you back inside, and beat you. That's why your body is sore. I'd also like an explanation about who's hoodie you're wearing. Because, I know for a fact that, that isn't yours."
Isaiah looks downs, "It's Jayden's..." He mumbles.
Joanna's eyes widen slightly. "Are you two a thing?"
"The opposite," Isaiah sighs.
"What happened?"
Isaiah thinks for a moment, "We got into an argument. I think because he thought I told Leah to cancel the date-"
Joanna holds her hand up, "When did that happen?"
"On Friday. Leah and I talked, I told her I'm gay, and about my feelings for Jayden. She canceled the date, explaining that she thinks we're meant for each other."
Joanna nods, feelings slightly caught up.
Isaiah continues, "Anyway, I ended up explaining that I'm gay, and a little bit about not feeling good enough. Then, that I'm in love with him."
"I'm glad you told him, but it didn't go over well, huh?" Joanna questions.
"Yeah."
Isaiah has two notifications, one from YouTube, the other from Instagram. He checks them.
"Hello?" Joanna notices the horrified look on her brother's face. He shows her the video on YouTube first. "Holy crap! Is that you and Jayden?"
Isaiah nods, "Yep! Someone caught the whole thing on camera. They caught me saying I'm gay, saying things about not having a great dad, and saying I'm in love with Jayden!" Isaiah moans, out of fear.
"It's okay, it's okay. Dad doesn't use social media all that much. We should be fine, okay?"
"That's not all," Isaiah holds up his phone again, revealing the photo that random girl took with him.
The caption reads:
If you live in North Dakota, you may recognize this face! It's the pastor's son, at a party?!
#Goodboygonebad #IsaiahHarden #FakeChristianBoyJoanna's eyes widen again, "Yeah, that's pretty bad, too."
Isaiah moans, and rolls over so that his face is stuffed into the pillow. "Kill me, now."
"No!" Joanna hollers, rolling him back over. "I know it looks bad, but it'll be okay. It's not the end of the world."
Isaiah gives her a serious look, "It's the end of my world!"
Joanna laughs, "You're such a moody teenager."
He flips her off, clearly not in the mood for her comedy.
"Okay, okay. I'm sorry. But, what do you even think is going to happen?"
Isaiah starts listing off his theories, "Well, dad will abuse me when he finds out, our whole church will hate me, everyone will consider me an awful person, I'll get bullied, and no one will want to talk to me," Joanna gives him a surprised face.
"How long have you been coming up with this list?" Joanna questions.
Isaiah sighs, "Just now! This whole thing will destroy me! I'll lose everything!"
Joanna rolls her eyes, "You had to come out of the closet eventually. Some of those things were bound to happen. I know it sucks, but what did you expect? Life isn't perfect."
Joanna walks off, leaving her elder brother with that information. Isaiah sits up and wonders if Joanna is right. 'Was this all going to happen one day? I'm just unlucky that it happened all in the same day,' The realization makes his heart hurt.
He looks down at the hoodie he's wearing. He feels like an idiot because he really likes the feeling of wearing Jayden's hoodie. Even though it reeks of cigarettes and alcohol. 'Why did I go to that party last night? Was it just another bad decision on my part?' Isaiah wonders, and sighs. Knowing he has to return the hoodie tomorrow tears him apart. He gets out of bed and crawls to the bathroom.
He pulls off all of his clothes, and looks at himself in the mirror. Surely enough, he's covered in bruises and scratches. No wonder his dad didn't want him going to church in this state. He climbs into the shower, the hot water feeling nice on his sore body.
When he finishes his shower, he dries off and pulls on lounge clothing. He then proceeds to take his clothing, and Jayden's hoodie down to the laundry room. He makes sure to wash Jayden's hoodie separate.
His parents get home after the hoodie is finished being clean. They had gone to some lunch with a large group of people that go to their church.
Matthew eyes his son with a disgusted look on his face. Isaiah fears he saw the video, but realizes that his dad would beat him if it was for that reason. He's still mad about Isaiah going to a party.
