Life has started panning out for the boys and their friends and family.
Carly and Beatrice have had several conversations discussing what Beatrice should do with The Friendly Neighborhood Church. Beatrice makes more money doing her job than she would be taking the church.
Eventually, they came to a shocking conclusion. Carly is taking hold of the church. She has plenty of time on her hands and with Jayden going to college soon, she figures that taking care of the church will be a good way to dedicate her time.
Carly has taken courses in the past about being a pastor and it's always been a dream of hers. She's been a good Christian since birth.
Now, the church is doing better than ever. Better than it was doing when Matthew Harden was the pastor.
The students at their school have started realizing that sexualities don't matter. They're all still humans. Jayden and Isaiah's peers have been more open to their relationship, and many classmates have come out of the closet.
Not to mention, that the boys' relationships have looked up.
Jayden's relationships with his parents have improved, greatly. They love Isaiah now after getting to know him better. He's able to talk to them about different things and feel comfortable about it.
He's able to talk to Noah and Sam more often. Now, Isaiah, Sam, Noah, and he sometimes go on double dates. They don't care about them being in a relationship, and they both even think they're cute. They're just happy that Jayden is happy.
Isaiah is getting along with his mom so much better. He's able to talk to her about things and not feel worried that she'd accidentally tell their dad. She still apologizes for not being the best mom during that time, but Isaiah doesn't blame her. He knows that it's terrifying being around him.
Joanna and he are still extremely close, but now, they can have fun in public and around different parts of their house. They barely could have fun around Matthew, because he'd tell them to shut up and that Isaiah shouldn't be distracting Joanna from her studies. They've had more time to bond ever since Matthew was taken into custody.
Leah and he are now more honest with one another. Isaiah doesn't have to worry about saying something about his sexuality. She's super supportive of them. She doesn't even care about her past slight romance with Jayden. It wasn't a romance, though.
Everyone has grown, too.
Jayden is now responsible, sweet, open, and romantic. He's passed that 'emo' stage. He dresses in a similar style, but now, less bad-boy. He's come to realize that he's pansexual and that he's okay with that. He's comfortable with himself and with other people.
Isaiah has learned to stand up for himself. He's more confident, even sweeter than before, less bitter about his dad, and happy. He dresses more comfortably, and his favorite piece of clothing is Jayden's hoodie. Isaiah can feel free and be open about his sexuality and who he is. Now, his nose isn't always buried into a book and he can have fun.
Mark and Carly have both become more open. Their proud of the man that Jayden has become. Plus, they love Isaiah and think he's a sweetheart.
Beatrice is happier and learned the importance of being respected by other people. She's not walked all over anymore. She's even met a man, Shawn. He's sweet and respects her. She's still going through processes, such as divorcing Matthew. So, they can't be something yet, but both of them have feelings for each other, nonetheless.
Joanna is confident about being bisexual. She's able to act like her hyper and funny self. She used to have a bad relationship with God because she believed all of the things Matthew told her about God not accepting her unless she's perfect. But, now she's past that part of her life and is trying to learn about him in the correct light.
