Y/n's POV
I enter the building huffing and puffing from the running around the town. I spot Cedric already drinking a butter beer and pumpkin juice opposite to him. I take a seat infront of him and place my books down on the table.
"Sorry if im late Ced, i got too caught up studying." I apologised. Cedric wave his hands off and smiled.
"Oh no worries y/n. Anyways what are you studying for?"
"Just a research paper on muggle arts thats all. Anyways how are you with the tri tournament?" I ask him a little cautious trying to not create hatred for Harry.
"Excited. Although i am a tad bit shocked." He says looking down on his butter beer. I take a sip of my pumpkin juice and wait for Cedric to continue.
"I mean, he is famous enough, if he enters this competition it'll make him even more famous."
"I-I know Ced but Harry doesn't mean any harm. Even i was sitting close to him and he was shocked more so scared, to the fact he got his name called out." I reason out, but Cedric just sighs and shake his head.
"Enough talk about this. So why'd you ask me to meet you here?" I ask him crossing my arms and leaning on the table.
"Hmm... nothing much. Finish your drink we're going to Honeydukes." Ced informs me and I try to hurry up with my drink.
"You know you might be in trouble later." I warn him.
"Why's that?"
"If i try finish this all i might need to use the loo too often." Cedric starts to chuckle but i give him a warning glare.
"It's not my fault someone is making me drink all of this within a small matter of time." Cedric took my drink and took the last few sips.
"There, happy now?" He questions me smirking and i just nodded my head and went along with him to Honeydukes.
I gather all my things once again struggling in the process. Frowning in frustration Cedric sees my struggle and takes all my things to carry with him. I look up to him asking myself if i should argue and tale it but then again Chivalry isn't dead.
"So you and Harry a thing?" Cedric asks abruptly. I stare up at him.
"No. Why?"
Cedric shrugs his shoulders and pauses for a few seconds, "It looks like you two are so close. And the other week you two seemed to be having fun..." he whispers the last part.
I stop him dead in his tracks by holding out my arms stumbling in the process since my body just cannot work together. I raise my brows in a mischievous way and stood infront of cedric.
"Wait?! Is this Cedric being jealous?????" I teased, walking around him making funny faces with my hands on my head.
"OH EM GEE! Cedric!" I yell and hit his chest.
Well isn't this adorable, he never got jealous with anyone he's dated. Maybe this is a sibling like jealousy...
"Ouch!"
