Y/N's POV

I ran towards my seat amongst the crowd. I could hear my heart beat ever so clearly. Oh heck im scared, i dont want Cedric to get injured or worse...

As i watch him try to get the golden egg, i see he's been continuously running. He's hiding behind a rock and the dragon is at the opposite side to where he is, far from him.

Come on Ced, go get it now...

It's as if he heard me and ran from rock to rock getting closer to the egg each time. He looked around to find the dragon but he got unlucky and found him checking the previous one.

The dragon slowly turned and They met eye to eye. There was a pause, until cedric ran towards the egg barely missing the dragon's wrath. He used the rocks as his shield and held the egg up.

The dragon was stopped and chained up.

The whole crowd cheered for Cedric and I screamed as loud as I can as i ran towards the rails.

"WOOH! YOU'RE THE BEST CEDRIC!!!!" I yelled, over powering the crowd and everyone turned to look at me.

"And it's all thanks to you!" Cedric yelled back and we both started laughing and the crowd just watched us hysterically laugh.

I leave the bench and run to the champion's tent. I find Fluer, Krum and Ced all cheering harry on. I run behind cedric and he jolts at the suddenness. He turns and hugs me back.

"I knew you can do it ced!" I cheered once again.

"Harry, it's your time." Everyone turned to Dumbledore, then stared at Harry. His face displayed horror and i swear he's going to faint.

I leave Cedrics Arms and grabbed Harry's. his hands fitting mine perfectly, contrast to my warm hand his was cold. I gave him a smile and a comforting hug.

"Harry, you're going to do great." I whispered to him and i gave him a friendly kiss on the cheeks for encouragement, he gave me a tight smile and took a deep breath in and headed out of the tent.

I stood by Cedric as we all watch him opening the tent's entrance. Ced has his arms wrapped around my waist and leaning on my head.

"You know, im kind of pissed that you gave harry a kiss on the cheek and I didn't get one." Cedric pouts making me chuckle. Grabbing his face with both my hands i make him lean down, so close to my face that if someone just nudged us Ced and I will kiss.

"I may have given him a friendly kiss on the cheeks, but that's all. You on the other hand, have me. So take care of me Diggory, Im one in a lifetime." I say and he smiles at the fact i stated. He wrapped his arms around me and kept me close.

"I know, but I can't help being jealous of a boy thats the same age as you."

"Oh shush! Your only three years older than me. Plus, I prefer guys who are mature. Men, not boys" i re-assure him and he just embraces me once again.

We all stood by and awaited for the cheers for Harry. Once the crowd stayed silent we all looked out to find the dragon and Harry gone. I signalled to Hermione where's he, and she replied towards the school.

Did he walk there? Or with a broom? I swear i have my dumb moments, of course with a broom stick y/n.

Suddenly we see Harry in the distance and as he grabbed the egg we all cheered.

-TIIIMMEEEE SKIIIPPPP(Wooh! It's been a long time😂)-

Cedric invited me to the hufflepuff's common room to celebrate, everyone cheered Ced on and gave him full support, which im happy about.

I sat by the couch as everyone surrounded Cedric. I just watched him have fun and smile, and he saw me and walked towards me.

"Why is my girl just sitting here?" He asks as he takes the space next to me hugging me with one arm.

"Im just watching you have fun with everyone." I say to him.

"Well you should have fun too."

"Hey Cedric! Come here people wants to chat with you!" Cedric's friend called out. He turned to me to seek approval.

"You know you don't have to do that, i dont want to restrict you of your freedom." I re-assure him, and he kissed my cheeks and went over to them.

I sighed and thought that i needed to get out cause it stunk like gym clothes in there.

I went out to the hufflepuff's common room and into the hall way. I leaned on a window and admired the stars. They're shining brightly but they can't be compared to the beautiful crescent moon.

"Why would you be out here? It's cold?"

I take my gaze away from the night sky and see Draco leaning on the window next to me.

"Hm... what are you doing up so late?" I ask him, looking at the sky once again.

"Pansy was invited, i dont know how but she was... and she dragged me along with her..." he states and i just nodded.

"We haven't talked for a while... how are you slytherin?" He asks and i sighed and had to pause for a second.

"I've... been wonderful. Cedric is just an angel, but i miss how we were before. I miss how Harry didn't ignore me, and I feel bad leading him on back then... and I miss our friendship Draco." I confessed looking at him in the end.

He looked back at me only to find my tear stained face. He gently pulled me closer for a friendly hug and i accepted his embrace.

"We're always going to be best friends. And no matter who you're dating, i'll always be right here." Draco consoled. I stayed in his embrace for a few more seconds till i pulled myself apart from him.

"You know, you should try and live your life. Stop trying to please your father..." i say and he just sighed deeply and nodded his head no.

"Y/n... I don't think i can do that. And Im destined to follow his footsteps... im not like you..."

"I'll be here with you Draco. Always." I re-assure him and silence followed.
