Draco's POV

Pansy invited me to the hufflepuff's common room to celebrate Cedric's accomplishment. Honestly I dont know if Im happy or pissed off.

Y/n seems happy with Cedric. But there's something missing from them. But im not a 'love' expert so im probably just jealous.

wait... jealous? what am I saying? i dont get jealous.

i was about to say something but i got interrupted by someone.

"Y/n there you are. I've been looking everywhere for you. Malfoy?" we both turn to look behind us and Cedric was jogging towards Y/n.

"Ced, i thought you were talking to your friends?" Y/n asked.

"yeah but i felt that my girlfriend was feeling lonely, so when i checked if you were still sitting down the couch i find you weren't there." Cedric tells her, emphasising 'my'.

i just awkwardly stood there watching them be all lovey dovey.

"uhm... i better go back..." i say as i wave at y/n bye. I waved bye to the two and walked away.

a few metres past i turn back to look, and i wished i hadn't. I saw y/n and Diggory embracing each other whilst smiling happily, you can see the love through their eyes.

if only...

Y/N's POV

"So did your friends annoy you again?" i ask him. We both stood their embracing each other, the moonlight shining on to cedrics face.

"hm... no, they were asking too many things, and i got bored. what were you doing out here with Malfoy?" he asks as he pulled me away at arms length, I felt saddened of this and started to pout.

"We just both admired the night sky. why do you ask Ced?" i eye him suspiciously. He just stood there blushing, turning his head a little to the left, hiding his rosy cheeks.

I smiled at this and hugged him.

"Cedric, are you jealous?" i mumbled as my face was buried to his chest.

"... Yes, my beautiful girlfriend has too many guy friends. But, it's not my control on who's your friend. Plus Jack will kill me if he heard this right now."

i blushed as he called me beautiful. Wait why would Jack kill him?

"Diggory. Release my sister." I hear Jacks voice in a demanding tone. I flinched a little but Ced stood strong.

"Jack, I thought your girlfriend was keeping you away from your sister?" Taunts Cedric, the air around me was tense considering how these two are looking at each other.

What happened with both of them?

"Uhm... Jack, are you mad?" I asked, I felt dumb asking that considering he's glaring at Ced and all that over protective brother mode.

Good Job miss obvious.

"no, im not. Shouldn't you entertain your guests Cedric?" my brother glared at his friend to which Ced glared back.

it started to escalate so i cleared my throat and pulled Cedric back to the Hufflepuff's common room. I look back to Jack and mouthed him to come along, to which he scoffed.

Once we got in Ced conversed with his friends and I went back to Jack.

"what the hell was that? i thought you two are friends?" i asked him angrily, Although when Cedric and I started dating, Jack has been cold towards him.

"Look, i'll explain this now but, if your bestfriend starts dating your sister, that practically says 'i dont respect our friendship so im just going to ruin your sister'" He claims

"As if Cedric thinks that! maybe he just liked me earnestly and he won't hurt me! Just please... Please stay friends with him. You know he cares about how you feel too..." i try to reason out but the atmosphere seems to be going down.

"anyways, we shouldn't argue, this is a celebration of Cedric's accomplishments so please stay civil." I comment and walked off towards my hufflepuff friends.

Its been a week after the celebration and Cedric and Jack are getting along better. We're waiting for the second task but it hasn't been announced yet.

Im at the library with Hermione studying for an upcoming test. Harry is here but he went off with hermione and i stayed back writing my notes.

i felt someone just staring at me so i look up, i see a first year boy scared to death and vividly shaking in fear, right in front of me.

"can i help you?" i asked a little too strong, frightening the boy.

"u-u-um... th-th-the headmaster... wants y-you in his o-office... a-and miss Granger t-too..." he stuttered, once he finished he ran off like a mouse being chased by a snake.

Im not that scary, am I?

I gathered my books up and went to hermione.

"Hey Hermione, a kid just told me Headmaster dumbledore wants us in his office." she gave me a nod and said good bye to harry and we went off.

as we walked, both Hermione and I stayed silent not knowing what to talk about ay the moment. Then we passed Cedric and His friends and he came over to us.

"Y/n where you guys going?" he asks hugging me.

"To the headmasters office, i dont know why but he just told us to come." i say and he smiles at both of us and Hermione returns a tight smile.

"well alright i better not hold you guys up, i'll see you later y/n" and with that he went off and we continued our paths.

we got to his office and found him sitting on a chair behind his desk doing some paper work.

"you called for us headmaster" Hermione says and he looks up to both of us.

"Ah yes, please take a seat."

and before we know it. Hermione and I passed out.
