Chapter 10

Simon's stopped talking to me. I deliberately leave my curtains open when I'm getting dressed just to piss him off.

Anyways I've been talking to Ethan lately and I've invited him around for after school as I've been excluded.

I jumped in the shower quickly and then put some clothes on. I put a laced top on and some leather leggings.

Ethan: Hey, I'm walking with Simon to urs now so I'll see you soon.

Me: Alright, see you then.

I didn't actually like Ethan that much. Yeah he's a nice guy and everything and he's actually really good looking but I still like Simon.

A few minutes later and there is a ring at the door bell. I go downstairs and open the door to see Ethan. I take him upstairs and tells him he can do whatever.

Ethan: Do you wanna play with me.

Me: It's a bit too quick don't you think.

Ethan: No you fucking idiot. I know you like Simon still. I meant on the xbox.

Me: You know?

Ethan: Yeah but I'll still play along don't worry.

Me: Thank you Ethan.

He's just generally a nice guy but I like Simon more. Talking about Simon I see him in the corner of my eye looking at us through his window.

Me: Play along.

Ethan: With what.

I get up and start dancing around the room laughing at Ethan like I had just won a game. He pulls his arms up in a strop actually playing along. This guy is good.

I stand him up and start kissing him. My back was facing the window so he grabs my arse. I pull away and laugh again.

Ethan: You're trying too hard Kaylee.

Me: But I love him.

I try and not let myself cry but I couldn't help it. Ethan then walks over to the window and opens it. He climbs out the window and knocks on Simon's. He opens it looking confused. Ethan whispers to him and Simon comes into my room.

Simon: Kaylee...

I just stay quiet and sit on my bed.

Me: I'm sorry.

Simon: For what?

Me: Fucking up your girlfriend.

Simon: Yeah well shit happens doesn't it.

Ethan: Do you want me to leave?

Me: No, stay.

Ethan then sits on a chair in the corner of my room. Simon comes and sits on my bed with me.

Simon: Have you got anything to tell me?

Me: I told you I've never cried over a boy before haven't I?
