Chapter 50

6 months later

A lot has happened in the past few months. I've moved in with Simon and the other guys and everything has been great.

Simon's fans absolutely love Mackenzie. Everyone loves Mackenzie, he just brings joy to all of us. He's started walking and saying a few things like mama and dada.

Simon and I are great. We've gotten on really well and have been dating for a few months now. We really do love each other.

Today is Mackenzies first birthday and we are throwing a party in the house. It was just going to be the boys and their girlfriends and also Lux, Freezy and Charlie.

I picked Mackenzie out of his cot and changed his nappy. I got him into some nice clothes and put him down on the floor. He ran out of his room and over to mine and Simon so I followed him.

Mackenzie: Dadada.

Mackenzie ran to Simon holding his arms out. Simon was editing a video on his computer so he turned around and picked up Mackenzie and placed him on his lap.

Simon: Hello Monkey. Happy Birthday.

Simon see me standing in the door way smiling at them both so he holds his other arm out for me to hug him which I do.

Me: Right I'm gonna go set everything up downstairs. You alright looking after Kenzie?

Simon: Of course. Everyone should be here in around 2 hours so don't forget to get dressed yourself.

I look down at myself still in some shorts and one of Simon's T-shirt's I slept in. I quickly change into something more appropriate and then go downstairs.

I set up the banners and balloons, also a table full of party food. Josh created a music playlist which I trusted him with.

Simon: LEE!

He shouted from his room.

Me: WHAT?

I shouted back at him. He didn't reply so I ran up to see what was going on. I go into the room and see Kenzie and Simon lying on the bed watching the tv.

Me: What did you want?

Simon: Oh, are you almost finished?

Me: Yeah. People will be here any minute.

Simon: Alright because we're hungry aren't we Mackenzie.

Mackenzie just smiles and bounces on the bed.

Me: Come on then. The foods out waiting to be eaten.

Simon picks up Mackenzie and gets off the bed. He comes over to me and kisses me on the forehead and then walks out and down the stairs so I follow.

I put the music on and everyone started to turn up.

Harry: Where's the drinks then?

He asks walking through the door. Mackenzie runs up to him and passes Harry his sippy cup which makes everyone laugh.

Harry: Thanks bud. Happy birthday I got you a present.

Mackenzie takes the wrapped up box off Harry and Harry takes Mackenzies sippy cup off him. Like everyone else's presents, Mackenzie ran to the middle of the floor and sat down then ripped open the present.

Mackenzie was a big fan of cars so everyone got him hot wheels and things like that. Me and Simon got him a moving Audi that was big enough for him to ride on and a few other things that he'll enjoy.

He got up and ran towards Harry and hugged his leg to say thank you. Mackenzie is the most politest baby I have ever known but also the meanest at times.

Mackenzie was riding in his car while Beans was chasing after him. The boys were all playing Fifa in the living room so me and the girls were just talking.

Freya: I can't believe how quickly Mackenzie is growing up.

Me: I know. It feels like last week when I had him.

Katie: He's like the cutest baby I have ever seen.

Me: He's a little trouble maker that's what he is.

Freya: Thats hard to believe.

Me: Kenzie come here.

Mackenzie gets out his car and runs over to me so I pick him up.

Me: Go over to daddy and annoy him.

The girls laugh and I put Mackenzie down. He runs into the living room and grabs the controller out of Simon's hands and starts pressing all the buttons.

Simon: Mackenzie!

We all laugh including the boys.

JJ: I guess Mackenzies on my team now.

Mackenzie holds his hand out for a high five which JJ returns. Simon stands up off the sofa and over to the table full of food so I follow him.

Me: You okay?

He picks up a party ring and takes a bite of it.

Simon: Yeah I just can't believe how fast he's growing up. I know I've told you this so many times but I'm really glad I found you at that park on that day otherwise I probably never have known he'd existed.

Me: I would have probably told you. I couldn't go that long without you guys.

He pulls me into a hug and kisses my forehead.

Simon: I love you so much Lee.

Me: I love you too Si. Forever.
