Chapter 44

I wake up in my bed. Someone must have taken me up last night. I check the time to see that it was 6:25. Perfect. I stand up and walk out the room. I run downstairs and turn on the speakers that we use for parties. I hook it up to my phone.

I play "Merry Christmas Everyone" full blast and wait at the bottom of the stairs for the rest of the boys.

Simon: SHUT THE FUCK UP!

He shouts as he comes out his room and looks over the balcony down to me. I smile widely as he runs his hands through his eyes. Josh and Vik come out their rooms with a camera in their hands and faces it towards me so I wave.

The boys all come downstairs still half asleep so I turn the music down a little bit. We all go into the living room and the boys sit down on the sofa. I hand out the presents and we all start opening them.

Harry: Alright who got me a Dildo?

We all laugh as Harry pulls out a dildo from the wrapping paper. I've gotten a few funny presents. The boys got me a few makeup bits, perfume, clothes and other things like that.

After we all finished opening our presents the boys all got their bags together as they were all staying around their parents house tonight. Leaving me on my own in a big house.

Harry: Come give us a hug then Kay.

Harry says with his arms open stood by the front door. I stand up from the sofa and walk over to him and give him a hug goodbye. We pull away and he opens the front door.

Harry: I'll see you all on New Year's Eve.

We all say goodbye to him and he walks to his Uber that was picking him up. I go back to the living room and see the boys rechecking their bags.

Me: Are you all leaving me this early?

Vik: You can always come with me to see your mum and my dad if you want.

Me: Nah I'd rather stay here.

Ethan: Well we all best be getting off then.

I give them all hugs and then hug Simon. He hugged me tighter than the others which was cute.

Simon: Are you sure you're going to be okay here on your own?

Me: I'll be fine I promise. Just get lost your mum and dad probably miss you.

He gives me one last hug and then we all walk over to the front door. I say goodbye to them all and they walk out the door. Finally the house to myself.

I go upstairs and get dressed into some clothes. I go back downstairs and give beans his food. I grab my coat and slip on my trainers and then head out the door locking it behind me.

Garry: Kaylee? What are you doing here.

He walks in. I haven't seen him in ages. He sits opposite me at the table and just looks at me confused. I sat back in the chair and crossed one leg over the other.

Me: I wanted to say merry Christmas.

Garry: But like why have you come to visit me. I kidnapped you after all and now I'm spending time in this shit hole.

I just shrug my shoulders and look at him in his eyes. I fucking hated this man but for some reason I couldn't hold anything against him.

Garry: So what's happened then? Since I got arrested.

Me: I got cancer. That's why I got this hat on to cover my bald head.

I laugh slightly.

Me: Erm my mum kicked me out. I'm now living with them guys I kept tell you about.

Garry: You know I don't like them Kaylee. So why the fuck are you living with them.

I sat up and put my elbows on the table and stare at him.

Me: Because Garry you cant stop me anymore.

Garry: You know I know people kaylee. You know what I'm capable of. You know that chick that I sent to stab one of your mates?

Me: Laura? Wait no it can't be.

Garry: Yes that's the one. You kept going on and on about that Simon boy so I got her to get in with Simon. I also told her to kill you but that clearly didn't happen.

Me: Okay fine, what do you want?

Garry: Leave them. I don't want to see you around them Kaylee. I will know if you see them.

Me: I can't just leave them. They're my best friends.

Garry: Fine but it's not my fault if one of them end up dead.

The buzzer goes off and Garry stands up and walks out back into the jail. Why the fuck did I come here.

I get home and kick off my trainers. I run upstairs into my room and pick up two suitcases and stuff as much things I could in there. I get out my backpack and shove it all with the left over cash I had in there.

I go downstairs with the suitcases and place them by the door. I go over to when beans usually sleeps and give him some more food to last him till tomorrow for when one of the boys come home.

I grab some paper and a pen and start writing a goodbye note. I really didn't want to do this but it's for the boys safety. I couldn't forgive myself if I found out one of them got hurt.

Dead boys,
Well I just want to apologise for leaving so suddenly. Please don't try and contact me because I won't answer. I'm sorry for this, you guys have literally been the best. Thank you so much for looking after me.

Fuck sake I really didn't want to go. I put the letter on the table in the kitchen and then head out the house. I call an Uber and drive to the other side of town and to a hotel.

I'm so stupid for even going to see him. I should have known Laura and Garry were working together. But now I guess I'd just have to forget about everything and start my life over again.
