Just Some Fun

Alec was getting ready to go out with his siblings and Magnus but as he got ready he sighed looking around for his black jacket when he saw Max in the mirror rubbing his eyes yawning. Alec instantly stopped what he was doing turning to scoop Max up kissing his head moving to go tuck him back in. He whispered softly to him as he shut off the lights "sleep well monkey I love you." He stayed there until he knew Max was back to sleep moving to head back to his room to find his shirt and jacket. He shut the door behind him and as he turned he bumped into Magnus and made a soft noise moving out of the way. "Uh sorry about that I didn't think anyone else was up here" Magnus smiled glancing at Alec's bare chest before shaking his head "no worries Alexander I came to look for you because your sister said you would be looking for this." Magnus held up the black jacket and Alec rolled his eyes nodding his head in the direction of his room heading back that way after taking the jacket from Magnus. Alec opened a draw and grabbed just a simple black tee slipping it over his head while Magnus stood in the doorway and Alec looked at him through the mirror "do you plan on going home when we get done tonight?" Magnus shrugged "I guess so I don't typically stay out all night and even when I do I head home eventually." Alec slipped the jacket on before quickly running his fingers through his hair as he turned to face Magnus. "How about since you'll be drinking you stay here. Mom isn't home Izzy typically sleeps on the floor with Simon in Max's room because Max gets scared of the dark and Jace is taking the guest room which only leaves the couch, but it's better than making a separate trip home alone. Besides Izzy and Simon will leave early in the morning because Simon has to work so there will be plenty of room for you at breakfast. Magnus smiled softly at Alec before moving to enter Alec's room holding his hand out towards Alec "I am sure your couch is comfortable. I would love to stay over and have breakfast with everyone. Shall we?" He gestured towards the door and Alec nodded grabbing his hand walking down the stairs after shutting off the lights. Jace smirked as he grabbed his wallet heading towards the door Izzy following closely behind after kissing Simon goodbye.

While at the club Alec watched Izzy and Jace dancing as he sipped a glass of water and he could feel Magnus staring at him so he glanced over his lips quirking up in a small smile before going back to keeping his eyes on his siblings because he has always been the protective one. "You are staring Magnus" Magnus cleared his throat turning and passing a drink to Alec as he took a sip of his martini. "Drink Alexander it isn't like any of us drove here" Alec glanced at the beer Magnus was offering before setting his water aside nodding. "Ok but only one drink" Alec murmured softly before taking a sip and Magnus smirked downing the rest of his martini before holding out his hand tilting head innocently "dance with me?" Alec swallowed and shook his head "now that is something I don't do." Magnus rolled his eyes "you're going to make me dance on my own? that's cruel Alexander." Alec rolled his eyes back nodding his head towards the dance floor "go have fun I will watch." Magnus lowered his hand before reaching up to unbutton his shirt slightly turning to wink at Alec as he made his way onto the dance floor. Alec watched as Magnus swayed his hips to the music and he muttered under his breath sipping his beer. Jace walked towards  Alec raising his eyebrow "why aren't you dancing with your boyfriend?" Alec glanced over and shrugged "I don't dance and we.. the relationship is new." Jace chuckled shaking his head "that's when the relationship is fun." He nudged Alec gesturing towards Magnus "go dance Alec just have fun." Alec groaned downing his beer handing the glass to Jace before turning and taking a shot that Jace offered him making a face because he normally doesn't drink. Alec pushed through the crowd heading towards Magnus and he leaned his head down to talk into Magnu's ear "this isn't exactly my thing but I am willing to try. Dance with me?" Magnus smiled moving to grab Alec's hand pulling him close and he turned his head to reply to Alec "just don't let go and follow my lead." He kept a hand on Alec's hip laughing happily when Alec eased into his touch. They were just happy to be near one another and after a while, it seemed as if Alec relaxed enough to enjoy himself. He was clearly drunk but having fun and Magnus laughed looking towards Jace and Izzy gesturing silently towards Alec as if asking "should we cut him off for the night?" Alec wrapped his arms around Magnu's neck smiling and he leaned forward so that Magnus could hear him over the loud music "this is how our first kiss should have gone." Magnus raised his eyebrows but Alec leaned forward pressing his lips sloppily to Magnus's kissing him slowly. Alec grinned against Magnus's mouth pulling away to sing rather out of tune to the song currently playing. Magnus laughed tilting his head watching Alec happily while he danced and sang. At some point in the song, Alec gestured for Magnus with his finger and Magnus faked confusion looking around before pointing to himself. Alec nodded holding his hand out pulling Magnus to him once Magnus grabbed his hand. Alec grabbed Magnus by the hips kissing him again slowly and Magnus hummed softly. Alec groaned pulling away when Jace tapped his shoulder "what is it Jace?" Magnus gently stroked Alec's cheek and Jace held up his hands in innocence. "We should be going it's late and Izzy has to head home in a few hours with Simon." Alec rolled his eyes letting go of Magnus's hips pushing past Jace muttering something along the lines of "lightweights" before heading towards Izzy and Magnus chuckled "I think your brother gets a little testy when he drinks." Magnus moved to follow Alec and he slipped his hand into Alecs as they walked outside. 

As soon as they were home Jace and Izzy headed to bed but Alec went to the kitchen looking for something to eat and drink. Magnus followed Alec and he shook his head gesturing to the counter "sit Alexander I will make you something to eat." Alec smiled hopping up onto the counter to sit sipping at his glass of water watching Magnus looking for a bowl to put popcorn in. Alec was mostly silent as he shared the popcorn with Magnus and after Alec finished his water he kissed Magnus's cheek "I am going to shower. Make yourself at home." He smiled putting his glass in the sink heading upstairs and Magnus nodded watching him go before cleaning up their bowl and glasses. After making sure everything was as he had found it he went upstairs to ask Alec for some blankets but he found Alec asleep in bed shoes still on. He chuckled moving to take his shoes off for him and to cover him up. He brushed the hair from Alec's forehead saying softly thinking that Alec wasn't sober or awake enough to hear him "thank you for always being there." He turned off Alec's bedside lamp before looking in the closet for some blankets sighing when he couldn't find any. He turned chewing his lip before grabbing the pillow and the throw blanket off Alec's bed turning to leave with them when Alec mumbled: "don't go Mags.." Magnus turned and Alec shifted gesturing sleepily to the spot next to him "go on." Magnus shifted to kick his shoes off and he laid down on the empty side of the bed and Alec hummed burying his face in the pillow and Magnus turned to go to sleep when Alec grabbed his hand mumbling "you're welcome." Magnus smiled looking over at Alec before reaching over to shut off the other lamp happy to just be near Alec.
