The Night stone (The late night crew)

By the time they made it to Jawelle it was the afternoon. The sun was already starting to set so they decided to head to the town inn and tavern. It was called "The Bear Den" and it looked like the newest building in town, but Cry and Cheyenne have been to this inn before a while ago. It's just taken care of very well.
They headed inside and walked together to the innkeeper to ask for a few rooms.
"We need some rooms for the night." Cry said to the innkeeper. The innkeeper was a very pretty brunette lady who looked about in her mid-20's.
"How many?" She asked.
"How many beds are there per room?"
"There are 3 bedrooms with 2 and a couple with 1 bed."
"We'll take 2 bedrooms with 2 beds and 1 bedroom with one bed." Cry had to think a second to make sure he counted right.
"Alright. It will be 15 gold."
Cry turned to Cheyenne. Without a word she gave him her coin purse and then he proceeded to take out 15 gold pieces.
"Thank you for staying here folks. If there's anything you want feel free to ask." The woman politely greeted.
"Thank you, ma'am."
The group then walked to a tavern table.
"So, uh. Anyone else hungry?" Asked Russ.
"Yeah. I'm starving." Cry agreed.
"Let's get some dinner before we rest." Said Jund.
Cry raised his hand to get some service. Within a few seconds a man came over to get some service. By the looks of him he appeared to be the Innkeeper's brother because they looked very similar.
"What would you guys like?"
"Hmm..." Cry though for a second what he should have "Do you have any mutton?"
The man nodded "I think we should have some. What about the rest of you?"
"Mutton too." Responded Russ.
"Do you have lamb?" Asked Jund
The waiter nodded.
"I'll have that then."
"Venison." Said Snake.
"Oh. Venison sounds good right now." Said Cheyenne.
"Any drinks?" The waiter asked.
"Mead for everyone." Said Cry. He knew that everyone probably wanted mead.
"The food will be right out, folks."

After waiting a little bit everyone got their mead and food. They began to eat and chat with one another. In the middle of their meal somebody else came into the inn and tavern. With a quick glance everyone realized who it was. It was their old friend, Ziegs.
"Zeigs?" Said Cheyenne.
"Oh! You guys are here?" Ziegs asked. She was pretty surprised to see them there.
"Yeah girl! We're on a quest right now." Answered Cry.
"I just didn't expect to see you all. May I sit with you?"
"Absolutely." Said Cheyenne, politely.
Zeigs sat down between Cry and Cheyenne and across from Snake.
"Hey Snake." Ziegs greeted.
"Hey Ziegs." Snake replied.
"Did you ever get that bow you wanted from a while ago?"
"Yeah. See." Snake showed Ziegs his bow. It was very nicely crafted and was painted black and dark blue.
"Nice." Ziegs replied.
"So what are you doing in the tavern, Ziegs?" Cheyenne asked.
"I wanted some beer."
"Of course you did." Said Cry.
"Be right back guys, I'm going to go get one."
Ziegs headed to the front desk and bar area and got a pint of beer. When she got back she started talking with everyone about new things and things that happened while they didn't see each other. The conversation shifted to the Night Stone after a while.
"You guys are actually looking for it?" Ziegs asked.
"Yeah, we found this book to help look for the stone." Jund said. He pulled out the book from his traveling bag and showed it to Ziegs.
"That's so cool!" She said.
"So, is there a well in town?" Jund Asked.
"Yeah there's one. Are you thirsty?"
"No, that's where the stone is supposed to be."
"The stone is in there? The only thing that gets in that well is cholera sometimes."
Cry made a sickened face "ew."
Russ changed the topic "We should go there in the morning."
"Yeah." Jund agreed.
"Well," Ziegs said "I'm going back to my house to sleep. Goodnight, I'll meet you guys at the well in the morning."
"Bye." Everyone said at the same time.

"I'm very tired." Snake stated.
"Yeah, we should head to our rooms." Cry said
They walked down a hallways that leads to the rooms. They headed down the hall until they found the rooms the innkeeper gave them.
"There are two rooms with two beds and one room with one bed if I remember correctly." Snake said. "I'll sleep in the bedroom with one bed then if any of you don't mind."
"That's fine." Russ said.
"Well, let's go to sleep already." Jund said "I'm drowsy."
Cheyenne and Cry went to sleep in the same bedroom and Jund and Russ shared the other 2 bedded room. Snake slept alone.

The next day they met Ziegs by the well. It was just a basic stone well you'd find in any town.
"Well, how are we going to get in it?" Cheyenne asked.
"There's a ladder." Ziegs said "We have a guy clean it once a week so he just leaves it here."
"Then let's climb down!" Russ excitedly exclaimed.
And so they climbed down the well.
